Chapter 7

Justin stared at Jesse's face in the strip-club parking lot, and after contemplating for a while, he said, "Remember the pretty lady that we saw when we were leaving the estate?"

Jesse smiled and replied, "You mean the one that ran away from you when you approached her?"

Justin glared at Jesse, but Jesse laughed and apologized. "Forgive me, boss."

"Justin! How many times do I need to remind you, Jesse, to stop calling me boss?" Justin questioned angrily, as he never liked it when Jesse tried to maintain a master-servant relationship between them.

"I'm sorry, Justin, but you know that your father will be angry with me if he finds out that I'm being friends with you and calling you by your name," Jesse apologized.

"I know, and that's why I want you to call me by my name, especially when we're not at home and in public places like this. To reduce other people's eyes on me," Justin said.

"Okay, Justin," Jesse replied, and Justin sighed frustratedly and said, "I just seem to like that young lady. I've been seeing her around, and I do not know how to approach her."

"I think you need to man up and approach her nicely. Most young ladies like her would think that you only want to sleep with her and then dump her," Jesse advised.

"Hmm, but she doesn't even want to hear me out. This is the fourteenth time I've seen her passing by," Justin said as he stood beside his car, with Jesse's eyes widening in shock at hearing "fourteen times."

Justin did not mind that the night was rapidly approaching, and his mother had been calling his phone, but he refused to pick up.

"Fourteen times? Wow! I'm only just seeing her for the first time," Jesse said.

"Yes, that's because you can't see how endowed she looks. You only have your eyes on the road," Justin replied, and Jesse only smiled at Justin's words.

"Can we go back home now, boss? No, I mean, Justin. It's already getting late, and it's after 10 p.m.," Jesse said as he stared at the other guys arriving at the strip club parking lot with their cars.

Jesse wasn't just hired as a driver for Justin alone; he was also Justin's bodyguard and a bouncer to fight and beat up anyone daring to come near Justin or harass him.

"Hmm. Okay..." Justin replied with a frown, as he knew he had no other option than to go home with Jesse.

Justin entered his car, and Jesse started the engine and drove out from the club.

Arriving at the estate gate, Justin's red car drove into the estate street, which was slightly dark with only the streetlights shining bright light along the road.

The estate security men welcomed them after checking the car, allowing Jesse to drive into the street. Even though they knew Justin's father was the owner of the estate, they still had to do their job for security purposes to search his car, as Mr. Emerson Robert owned the estate and more estates around Lemon Hill town.

Justin kept his eyes on the road, staring out the window at the beautiful street that led down to his father's mighty mansion.

Just then, a pretty young lady in her light blue dress rushed up to his car like she was being chased.

"Excuse me, sir... please wait!" Olima's voice cracked, startling Justin.

Justin squinted his eyes to stare at her properly as Jesse drove past her.

The surroundings had turned dark, with the streetlights shining on the beautiful, deserted street.

Justin could not see her face properly, and Jesse cussed out, "Damn it! Who was that idiot?"

Jesse swiftly navigated the steering wheel to drive past the young lady, not wanting to stop, as he did not know if the young lady was a setup sent to make them stop so attackers or assassins could get them.

But just as Jesse attempted to speed up on the gas and drive off entirely, Justin caught sight of the pretty young lady's face and immediately ordered Jesse to stop the car.

"Stop the car!" Justin repeated, and Jesse was taken aback by Justin's outburst as he slowed down and stared back at his young boss.

"Boss—I mean, Justin—you want me to stop the car here?" Jesse asked worriedly. But as he looked back at Justin, Jesse saw that Justin was staring out at the young lady who stood helplessly, staring at their car too, to see if they would stop and come back to help her.

"Boss, we cannot trust that lady. What if she's a witch or..." Before Jesse could protest or complete his statement, Justin had already pushed his door open and stepped down from the car, rushing up to meet the lady.

"Boss!" Jesse called after Justin, but Justin had already run ahead to meet the young lady, making Jesse cuss out, "Damn it! Who the fụck was that lady?"

Jesse drove the car backward to keep in touch with Justin instead of stepping down from the car.

Justin ran up to meet the young lady in her light blue dress.

Olima saw the red car drive past her speedily after she had tried to stop the driver. She saw the car stop ahead, making her hopeful. She paused and stared back at them again, hoping they would assist her in getting to the estate gate.

But just then, Olima saw a familiar figure step down from the car, and she immediately recognized him as the same young man who had approached her earlier in the daytime.

Olima swiftly took to her heels and started running away. Justin was forced to scream after her, "Wait!"

Olima did not want to stop, as she had previously seen how Justin's eyes had shamelessly raked over her body before, from her chest down to her waist, and with the way he had smiled at her earlier, with desire clearly written on his face.

Olima knew Justin was worse than the two previous men who had tried to stop her earlier and woo her.

She ran but stumbled and fell to the ground, allowing Justin to finally catch up with her.

Justin approached Olima as she lay on the floor, breathing heavily, too.

"Wow... that was an intense warm-up exercise tonight, miss," Justin said as he finally met up with Olima, meeting her beautiful gaze on him.

He rested both hands on his knees as he bent down, still standing and staring at her pretty, restless face.

Olima was extremely scared of Justin as she saw him crouch in front of her. He looked breathtakingly handsome—much more than all the young men of his age that she had seen before.

Even though it was nighttime, Olima could still see how handsome Justin looked, with well-shaped short black hair on his head, neatly trimmed beard, and a perfect face.

Justin was still trying to catch his breath, and he asked her, "What are you doing out here by the road at this late hour of the night?"

Justin stared at Olima Adams, who looked so helpless and was still lying on the floor. She had run away from him and fallen to the ground in her almost transparent blue nightwear.

"Please... stay away from me," Olima begged, shivering, as she was scared Justin might rápe her.

"I won't hurt you. Come with me; it's very late to be out here alone," Justin replied, and he extended his right hand to help Olima stand up from the sandy floor.

Olima was scared but finally accepted Justin's right hand, and she stood up from the floor.

Justin felt his body electrified the moment he touched Olima's left hand and helped her up, still holding her hand close to himself before she could run away again.

Olima was breathing heavily, and Justin's eyes roamed over her body as he saw Jesse finally drive the car backward to meet them.

Justin's fist clenched upon seeing that Olima looked hurt, and he asked her, "What happened to you?"

Justin could not believe his eyes as Olima's face looked swollen. The previous time he had seen her, her pretty face was smooth and not red. But now she looked like someone had beaten her or abused her.

"Tell me, what's wrong? Who slapped you?" Justin asked again, wanting to take revenge on Olima's behalf. Olima finally broke out into sobs in his arms.
