Chapter 24

Sarah's Pov

I watched Justin as his mind raced with thoughts. The once serene atmosphere slowly had tension building with strings of chaos.

“Read the message!”

Justin yelled.

I had seen Justin mad sometimes but never this angry. He was vibrating as the veins in his head came out fully. His eyes seemed to be teary as his voice was hoarse and his breathing was loud.

I looked at the message as I opened my mouth to read it.

“Mm.. message from the lawyer”

I began stuttering.

My stomach tightened as it formed a knot. Justin's mood scared me, I didn't know if he was going to hit me.

“Why did you stop reading? Continue”

he said calmly this time.

His emotions seemed to have mellowed down. He looked relaxed but still angry. I took a deep breath as I continued reading the short message.

“Annulment Granted. Your marriage is now officially dissolved”

I closed my mouth as Justin released my hands. I could see the questions racing through his mind reflecting in his eyes.
