Chapter Five * A Holiday Perhaps

On getting to the hotel Simon and Aurora were faced with a very angry Nate he looked so pissed that Aurora half expected steam to come out of his ears.

Nate was standing outside the hotel obviously waiting for the duo and as soon as they exited the car, Nate started walking towards them, although to any bystander it seemed more like a march, Nate stopped when he got to Simon.

He looked like a raging bull before Aurora could even foresee what was going to happen, Nate raised his fist and swung and it abruptly landed on Simon's nose breaking bone, the contact making a scrunching sound and before she could say anything about the punch, Nate unceremoniously dragged her into the hotel, he looked very pissed.

His fingers were digging into her hand but she chose not to comment because the last thing she wanted was for him to start screaming at her in the middle of the hotel lobby.

The atmosphere in the elevator was tense, Nate had released her hand and was busy rubbing the bridge of his nose as though he was trying to relieve the tension or dissipate his anger.

Aurora was angry at him, livid even he had no right to hit Simon he had less right to drag her like a ragdoll while all his employees where looking but his anger also scared her unnerved her, shocked her, she had never seen him so mad furious.

The elevator dinged and we were back in the honeymoon suite.

"WHAT THE FUCK WHERE YOU THINKING!" Nate all but screamed at her and she winced at the sound of his voice.

"We are supposed to be married and your off frolicking with that piece of scum," he continued not giving her a chance to say anything.

"I went on a bloody walk, and Simon accompanied me, you told him to do that remember,"  Aurora said as calm as she could hoping to hell that her voice did not betray the anger she felt.

"Well it sure didn't look like it," he said shoving his phone at her, she was puzzled by and she didn't understand why he was doing that until she looked in the phone and saw the pictures of herself  and Simon at the park, the quality of the pictures were terrible but the angle made it seem that Simon and Aurora were kissing, hugging and  holding hands, and beneath it was an article Trouble in Paradise, Already?.

Aurora felt bile rush up her throat, she felt sick seeing the words and didn't want to read any more, it wasn't new to her the press picking at even the most intimate parts of their lives bringing it out to the world to view, it came with being rich and all but specifically targeting her was new, they usually didn't bother with her, Dree perhaps but not her. She couldn't help but wonder what Simon's wife Bernice will think when she sees the article.

"Well even if I want to go kissing other guys, it is none of your business, it's not like we are in love or anything," she said not thinking, and before she could hold her self back.

"No we aren't in love, but we are fucking married and it doesn't look right that a day into your honeymoon you are already kissing another guy, a married one at that, bet he didn't tell you that huh, piece of scum cheating on his wife with a married woman," Nate said sounding even more angry.

"He told me about his wife and we weren't kissing," she said trying to defend Simon.

"Well it doesn't matter because you're not going to see him again," Nate said.

"What?" Aurora shouted exasperated, she was getting even more angry with her pigheaded husband, how can he try to control her like she is some doll.

"Did you fucking fire him?" She  asked dreading the answer Nate would give.

"Yes, I did and I am glad I did given by the fact that you're defending him, there is something going on between you two," he said angrily.

"You fucking bastard," she said angrily  jabbing her index finger into his chest.

"You throw a fucking punch at him and break his nose and if that isn't enough you fire him for something he didn't do, for an article you know is scum, for gritty photos that can be edited," she all but screamed at Nate.

Not waiting for his response she continued "You really are heartless, he has a family to feed a wife and two young children, you would make them go hungry for nothing?" Seeing the pain in his eyes as she called him heartless made Aurora's anger simmer down.

"I didn't kiss him and you know that, the press doesn't really matter, not at the expense of lives, your going to give Simon back his job because you're not heartless okay," Aurora told Nate her voice firm.

Nate did know that she didn't kiss him, it felt damn good to hear it from her though.

When he saw those pictures he felt a rage that he had never felt before, it was scary to think it was little Aurora that was affecting him in that way and even though he tried  convincing himself that he was only mad because of the press but who was he fooling, it was scary to feel something like this for someone other than Cece, he thought.

And when Nate fired that Simon guy he felt fucking good. Although he knew Aurora didn't kiss him or anything, but he knew she liked the bastard well enough to be smiling with him and she seemed at ease and Nate was fucking jealous of the bastard.

Jealousy, yes the green eyed fool.

And now Nate would have to give the bastard back his job.

Nate had given Simon back his job but Aurora couldn't talk to Simon any more he seemed even more closed off than he was when they first met, but Simon did say Bernice asked both her and Nate to dinner and Nate and Aurora would be going to dinner today.

One week had passed since the incidence and Nate refused to leave Aurora's side, it has been annoying for Aurora with no personal space but also nice.

He has taken upon himself to give her a full tour of Florence, On Monday he took her to the Uffizi Gallery, which she had been to before but with Nate the experience was much more fun for Aurora, Nate was always  making funny comments about the paintings Aurora didn't even know Nate could be so relaxed, Aurora brought her sketchbook with her that day, sketching anything she found pretty.

On Tuesday they went to the Academia Gallery, and Nate was acting all goofy again trying to pose like the sculptures there, she laughed so hard she almost pissed herself.

On Wednesday they stayed at the hotel because it was so hot they went lounging in the pool,  Aurora put on the sexy red bikini that left very little to imagination, it took a lot of effort on her side to come out of their suite, because she was still self conscious  but the look on Nate's face was worth for her.

It was there that Aurora met Tina and her husband Ben, they were on their first anniversary, Tina was a dainty redhead with their most piercing green eyes and she had a shit load of energy for someone so small.

It was nice for her to have female companionship although Nate's hadn't been bad for her, Nate and Ben also hit off, Nate seemed extremely energized so much so that he threw her into the pool jumping into it right after laughing at her, and a real one at that the one that reached his belly, and she scowled at him

She splashed water on him as revenge  but that seemed to fuel him more, he wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her full on the mouth, pulling in her bottom lip between his and sucking, she moaned into his mouth their lips moving in sync, when he finally came out for air to say Aurora was surprised would be an understatement, she had not expected the kiss.

At nights it was awkward as hell no matter how much pillows she put between them and how far they sleep from each other they always ended up on top of each other, unsure of who moved and who didn't.

After the kiss the air changed between them, Aurora couldn't really stop thinking about it, it was short but hands down the best kiss she has had, but Nate was being distant and pulling away from her, and she was too scared to ask him why.

On Thursday they went to the

Piazzale Michelangelo, which  she actually hadn't been to before and Nate insisted that they climb up the flight of stairs, the view was amazing Aurora couldn't help it, she brought her sketchbook book and began sketching, after which they went back to the hotel and Tina came to our suite and demanded she go shopping with her and she hated shopping, Nate and her had planned a picnic originally but she told him they would go the next day, Nate insisted we shop with his card, she tried declining but he wouldn't hear it.

Putting on a free top and a pair of shorts the most comfortable thing in her wardrobe, Aurora and Tina went shopping, it was endurable for her because she was shopping with Tina, both Tina's energy and excitement were contagious.

They were at a clothing store and Tina sure did know her clothes, she seemed to know the names of all the shoes and the designers who made them.

She and Andrea would get along well, it was refreshing she was nothing like her friends a girly girl, Aurora thought to herself.

This store was the fourth one they entered and she hadn't bought anything yet and Tina however had bought at least five dresses, she wondered wear she would wear them to.

She should probably get something for Dree and Mom, Rhea and RM my other best friend, she could get something for Nate too, Aurora mused.

Then her eye caught a red dress, it was a backless, floor length dress with a slit in the front and body hugging with a sweet heart neckline with a bit of gold trimming around it, it was elegant and that was usually her sister's thing but she was willing to try, she ended up buying a few dresses for Dree, Mom and Rhea, RM would not appreciate a dress so she would get her something else.

Tina squealed with delight when she tried on the dress "You look so hot," Tina said to her.

She felt sexy in the dress, then Tina proceeded to buy her a pair of gold heels that she claimed will go so well with the dress.

They later visited a lingerie store where she bought sexy lingerie that looked more comfortable than the ones that her mother had packed for her, she decided to buy a set for Dree, she was sure that her sister would love it, she found a pair of knee high brown leather boots that she was her friend RM would love.

Next they went to a jewelry shop where she saw a pair of diamond studs they looked so good, too good to wear even, but them decided to buy them thinking that she would probably wear it to some dinner party, walking into the store she told the woman to package the earrings for me then she saw it a gold Rolex watch it was perfect for Nate, she  paid for it with her own credit card and Aurora and Tina were on their way.

When she got back to the suite, Nate asked her to dress formally informing her that they were going out to dinner.

She was surprised, in a good way, Nate was taking her to dinner not because they needed the publicity, and she was glad she decided to go shopping, the red dress would be perfect for the occasion.

By 8pm, they were ready to go, she wore her red dress which was well fitted against her body, accentuating her curves making her look much more sophisticated, the sweet heart neck line did wonders to her cleavage, it was much more daring than she would have worn before.

For accessories, she put on round gold studs and a gold choker, with a gold purse which she had bought while they were shopping, She donned the gold peep toe stilettoes wearing her natural hair up in a bun with soft brown curls escaping, Tina had her makeup done and it was exquisite since Tina was  professional makeup artist.

Nate was wearing a navy blue tux with a red rose in his breast pocket and holding a bouquet of red roses when he came to retrieve her from Tina's suite

Aurora felt good when she saw Nate expression as she opened the door.

After what seemed like forever, Nate gave the flowers to Tina and held his arm out to her.

"Shall we?" he asked, in response Aurora took her purse and his arm and they were out.

They took a limousine, Nate went all out for the dinner, they arrived at the Trattoria Mario a few minutes to 8:30.

"Reservation under Walters," he said to the receptionist and they were shown to their table.

The dinner was spent talking about everything and nothing, Nate told her about his friends and his college days, she in turn told him about Rhea and RM.

She ordered a plate of ribolita her favourite Tuscan meal, and she also got Nate try it, they had a simple chocolate cake for desert.

Nate continued to tell her stories of work and his friends, who sounded pretty funny to her,  Alex the football player who was just as energetic outside the field and Jason the model and playboy, but Nate really didn't seem to like talking about himself, he seemed to want to know more about her and she certainly was willing to have someone to talk to.

"Aurora, what would you like to do?" Nate asked her.

"Mmm, I don't understand," she replied confused.

"I know, you don't have any interest in working in the company, but what would you like to do," Nate asked her.

"My hobbies are very much, you know that," she said laughing nervously trying to change the topic.

"Humor me," Nate said a small smile playing at his lips.

"I like drawing, taking pictures, I could sew be a fashion designer or something."

"I would really like to teach though, little children," she continued as an afterthought.

"Wow, I didn't expect that, are you sure children can be annoying?" Nate enquired.

"Well I haven't done it before and I have a degree so," she said shrugging her shoulders.

"You should go for it,"Nate said.

They finished the dinner with a bottle of Tuscany's fine wine, when they got back to the hotel she was a little drunk.

In the elevator they shared a kiss, Aurora didn't know who kissed who or how it happened but it was explosive, Nate's warm mouth on hers, his tongue  pushing it's way into her mouth, probing hers into dance, it made her feel so good, she moaned into his mouth as his hand squeezed her ass, as she rubbed her hands across his chest untucking it from his trousers desperate for some skin.

The elevator dinged, and they immediately pulled apart, Nate pushed himself away from her and went into the suite as if something was burning him.

Aurora was annoyed and beyond pissed, this kiss was even hotter that the last one for her and it unnerved her that Nate was just going to ignore her, she went into the suite and Nate was standing in the balcony, she then  turned back from him and got into the bathroom.

Was she so undesirable that he didn't want her, well if he is going to reject her she is not going to make it easy for him, Aurora thought to herself.

After taking her bath she put the towel around her naked body and took the skimpiest night dress she could find turning her  back to him after she saw that he was looking her way, dropped the towel and put the blank nightie on, by this time she  could practically feel his stare bore holes into her back.

"Shit!" Nate growled as she got into the bed, and hearing his growl she smiled to herself as she got into the bed.

Aurora woke up feeling warm, very warm, Nate had one arm around her and another resting on her breast, as she was trying to push him away, she felt something digging into her butt, trying to get Nate's arm off herself was really hard, she froze when he put his face in her hair and when he squeezed her breast she squeaked.

"Stay still Rory," Nate said his voice hoarse with sleep drawing lazy thumb in circles over her nipple through the sheer nightgown, which was puckering up for her husband, she felt so good and felt her arousal dampen her panties, she suddenly needed to pee.

"Nate, I need to go," she said embarrassed.

"Go, where it's morning," He said his voice still groggy, now laying kisses on her neck, drawing in a bit of flesh in between his teeth.

"I need to pee Nate," she finally said.

He finally released her and she literally jumped out of the bed rushing to the toilet and she could hear Nate chuckling behind her, she decided to take a bath, so that both her and Nate could have their picnic.

After a lot of convincing, she finally got Nate out of bed after the way he acted with her last night, she didn't know what to expect this morning but she got playful Nate today, playful and touchy Nate, he was stealing kisses and making her hot all over, she didn't know how to take this new change in behavior but she decided to think good things, not like she had a choice.

They went on a stroll in the park, where they saw a rose garden and she ended up sketching the fountain of Neptune.

And before they knew it they were off to dinner at Simon and Bernice's place and their time in Florence was almost over.

They finally kissed, I am so happy, my babies are all grown up now.
