Clearing Up

Anthea stared at Rayan’s shivering form through the CCTV monitor. He was still waiting outside Emilia’s apartment while sitting on the floor for the past two hours. Her heart was clenching in pain, seeing him suffer badly in the cold. She was in a huge battle with herself about whether she should hold onto her anger or let it go before running to him.

After talking to Athena, her head cleared, and she had already made up her mind. But still, she wanted him to suffer a little. However, it was already enough and she couldn't stand it anymore. He was looking really broken and pathetic while sitting on the floor with his back against the wall. Anthea closed her eyes a little before reopening them. She got off the couch before walking towards the main door.

“Anthea!” Rayan’s eyes shot open in surprise when he heard the apartment door opposite Emilia’s open before revealing Anthea. He was surprised to see her there.

“You are here!” Rayan commented in surprise while standing up from the g
