DANGEROUS APPROACH
It was 3:55pm and school was over. Alixes sat in her desk,her eyes fixed on Ben and his friends, unblinking as they strolled out; chatting and laughing their hearts out while Laura packed her books back in her bag.
"Why will he like to meet Laura when they're like cat and mouse_never meet eye to eye. What's he up to?",she mumbled in her thoughts, befuddled.Laura sighed in such a relaxed manner, picking up her bag as she rose to her feet.
"Gosh, finally! I'm all done now. Come on, Alixes, I need to make a call now since I won't be leaving anytime soon else mum will be worried."But Alxies still sat there deaf, lost in thoughts. Laura stared at her wondering what she was thinking; so lost,"Is everything alright with her?",she mumbled, quite worried. Mrs Amy was as usual, busy in the kitchen making dinner when Kelvin rushed down into the kitchen, cheerful. Mrs Amy glanced at his face and smiled, turning back to her chores."Oh, you're here. MR. ROBERT'S OFFICEMr. Belvis Roberts, Laura's father stood up from his desk, quite stressed after attending to a pile of documents on his desk. He called his secretary and ordered her to cancel the rest of his meetings."Good, thank you. Bye", he dropped the line and strolled over to a table opposite the door. He took his cup of coffee and trod back to his desk. Just when he was about to settle back in his chair, a strong wind from no where blew and Laura's picture frame on his desk fell to the floor, scattering the pieces of its glass all over the floor. He had the picture frames of his family, Amy, Mya , Laura and Kelvin decorated on his desk in such a way that it's quite impossible to fall off easily. Mr. Roberts gazed down at the frame in awe. ENRAGED SOUL I AM HERE
Mrs Amy sat on the sofa with teary eyes as she gazed down at her son who laid on the sofa with his head resting on her laps. She gently caressed his hair while she kept humming softly to him, looking all devastated and depressed. Her mind racing in space. It's been almost an hour without any news of her daughter's whereabout. A tear dropped down her eyes, she sniffed and swiftly wiped it off with her hand. After realizing Kelvin was fast asleep, she took a quick glance at her phone next to her if she had missed any call but still had none. She gently adjusted Kelvin's head on one of the pillows on the sofa and stood up as quite as she could, not waking him up. She sighed, glanced at Laura's picture on the table and trod off to the kitchen to get some water. Just then, her phone rang. She hurriedly rushed and picked it up; it was Mya."Mya? what's going on?Have you found her?", she stuttered but trembled at the sobering tone over the phone. "What is it, Mya? Talk please"

The Roberts family got home, sullen and drenched in sorrow. Mya alighted from the car and hurriedly dashed off to her room in tears."Mya? Mya? Mya!", Mrs Amy called in tears but she faded into the house without a word nor turning back. Mr Roberts held Amy with a meaningful look, "Let her be for now, Amy. She'll soon come around". She stared at his face with teary eyes and nodded. Kelvin held her hand and gently caressed it."Let's get in now ", said Roberts, leading Amy and Kelvin towards the door. Laura strolled behind them sobbing. *************Mya stood behind Laura's door, sullen, graved and vacant as tears continued rolling down her cheeks. She scoffed and sniffed as she slowly pushed the door open.She paused at the entrance as she kept scanning through the once fun filled room with Laura's presence which had now turned bleak and cold without her. It's been a week without Laura and to this effect not an easy one for the Roberts' family and Laura's friends especially Alixes who held her dying friend in her arms to the hospital. She had been traumatized after witnessing such brutal site and had since been under a psychological therapy to help calm her. Investigations to help bring the culprits to book also proved futile. Everyone was made to believe she committed suicide out of frustration; this bugged Mya's mind."Why will Laura do such a thing? ", she wondered gazing at her sister's picture on the wall in her room. "We always share our problems and frustrations together so if something is going on with her why couldn't she tell me? And come to think of it, she's not someone who runs away from her problems .Something is not right, there is more to this which I need to find out. Don't worry Laura, I'll find out what really happened ", she mumbled to herself, picked up her car keys and hand bag, rushing out of the room.
ENRAGED SOUL NO ONE MESSES WITH A ROBERTS
Mya approached the administration block, zoning out with her mind flooded with unanswered questions; she needed answers to. This made her more determined to get answers to solve all those mysteries. A ring from her phone suddenly drew her attention back to reality."Damn, who could it be?", she mumbled, glaring at her bag. She sighed, rummaging through her bag for the phone. After a second, she finally drew out the phone and checked the caller. It was her mother.Mya exhaled, tilting her head as she answered the call, approaching the administration block with small paces. "Yes, mum, what is it?"."Sorry, dear, I just.... ", Amy answered from the other end of the phone but Ben and his friends suddenly bumped into Mya in a rush, making her phone and documents fall to the ground before Amy could finish her words."Ouch, hey! watch it! Amy slowly drew the phone from her ear, all depressed and frustrated with heavy heart. She scoffed, involuntarily blinking her eyes as tears strolled down her cheeks. Her gaze fell on Laura's picture on the wall_with a morose look, she drifted closer. A faint, sorrowful smile dazzled on her face as she gently brushed her hand over the frame."(sniffs with tears in her eyes)Nothing had ever been the same with your absence, Laura, my baby. He glanced at her mother in tears. His heart always ache to see his family especially his mother in such pain and agony after that day. Every passing day was like hell, a nightmare that was inevitable. His father hardly comes home from work and Mya always returns late and drunk.
