“I get it, I fucked up, but I corrected it hours ago so why’re you still on my case?!” I clutched the laptop at my desk like it would keep the murderous rage in me from lashing out at Logan.

“Because the next time you forward confidential information like that, it might be to a competitor, not the entire security team that’s bound from sharing that because of NDAs!” he yelled back, his suit tightening around his biceps as he folded his arms.

“Well, I’m a makeup artist and not a fucking trained secretary so it’s your fault I’m incompetent in this position since you forced it on me!” I slammed the laptop shut, my last nerve faltering.

“This shit is common sense, Scarlett and that’s a petty excuse for someone who attended college,” he hissed, “except you were too busy spreading your legs to learn a single thing.”

I growled under my breath and got to my feet, banging my fists on the table since I couldn’t use them to punch a hole through his head for blatantly insulting me.
