Ms. Jones I need to speak with you really quick," I said as everyone left the class and Sofia walked over to my desk Her brother and her friend waiting by the door.

"Yes, Mr. King," Sofia asked

"I wanted to talk to you more about the scholarship opportunity. I know you don't want to meet with me outside of school because you know your boyfriends won't like it but I would like to talk to you about it here in class. I would like to talk to you now about it and I can give you a pass to your next class once we are finished. Your brother and friend can head to their classes now," I said, wanting to get them away.

"I appreciate what you are trying to do for me but that is unnecessary, Mr. King,' Sofia said. I was getting angry and it was taking a lot of me to stay calm.
