My heart stopped for a moment and I didn't even turn to face him. The tone of his voice pissed me off, even more than his mean words.

“Fucking? It was only a friendly date,” I tried to explain even though I didn't need to. We obviously weren't doing anything that serious. I wondered why he always blew things out of proportion.

He didn't even care that the person he called, ‘Tom, Dick and Harry’ was standing right there!

“I don't give a shit, Bella! It doesn't matter who you want to be with, you signed a contract and you can't be seeing other people while we're married but I'll cut you some slack. Since you're so horny, as soon as you deliver my baby, you can run off with whomever you please.”

“Xander!” I screamed at the top of my lungs. “Stop it, alright?” I was starting to feel a thorn in my throat. “I've had it up to here with you. I'm not some object. I understand that all you want is the baby because you…have made it very clear.”

“Good!” He said, turning around to leave.
