Chapter 06

Quinn felt her body started jerking uncontrollably on hearing that monster's voice.

She wished she could evaporate to the world beyond besides the only thing this life has offered her since this war started, has been pain, anguish, and all the bad things in life.

She was slowly going insane.

She was losing it upstairs.

Losing her father.

Her pack members had totally forgotten her and now then, she was at a dead end all because the moon goddess has decided to give her a fate that will end her life and eventually, the royal blood of Blue Moon pack will be out of existence.

Every step, Alpha maverick took, brought him closer, and the more he gets closer, the more she felt color drained from her face.

It was too much for her besides she is just seventeen and isn't supposed to go through all of this at this tender age, in fact, if she was asked to choose, she will never choose to go through this type of thing. Not now, not when she was mature, and not in the life afterward.

And suddenly, her chest tightened in regret.

She shouldn't have accepted to be an Alpha's child.

Alpha maverick laughed, “ oh really? Do you know that an Alpha blood can be reduced to an omega? Oh, you don't know, “ he mocked.

Quinn's face drained of color,

“Was that why she felt weak and ended up passing out when Alpha maverick pronounced her as an omega? Does it mean she had lost all her fighting skills and become weak, “ she opened her mouth wide, “ her wolf hasn't spoken to her since she woke.”

“I guess this cell isn't a place of torture for your kind that's why you feed my sons with lies of being their mate” he walks around Quinn

“I have never fed your sons with lies beside I don't need to tell them we are mates, they can smell it that am their mate “ Quinn defended herself.

“Oh really, then you must be super happy that you have made my sons fight each other right” he bent low to her position. Staring into her eyes as if he could see what was going on in her mind.

“But let me tell you “ he continues when he couldn't get a glimpse of her thought “ I have trained my boys to love and protect each other but if you think you can bring yourself into my home to destroy and take away all the training I have planted in them for years when their promiscuous and adulterous of a mother left, then you should know you are signing your death papers “.

“For your information, I didn't come here myself. And to shadow pack, because I want to. But, because you made your sons and shadow pack fighters to take my father, my pack members, and myself here as captive, so you can rule the supernatural world” Quinn said.

She didn't understand where the boldness to talk back at Alpha maverick came from, she was supposed to cry and beg him. But still, she went with the flow.

You sent her and the man you suspected she cheated on you with to death by splitting their head from their body. Oh, how the moon goddess will torment you for your evils. For the innocent lives you've taken,” Quinn spat on Alpha maverick, then started laughing.

She laughed so hard like a maniac.

Tears streamed down her eyes, yet she didn't stop laughing.

Alpha maverick thought she had lost her senses, but he didn't care.

“You spat on me ?” he asked and the next thing, he grabbed her by the neck, “you will regret being born when am done with you !” he threw her to the ground.

“Guards !” he yelled and the door break open revealing some guards

“Send her to the dungeon immediately, “ he commanded when they got closer.

The guards grabbed her as they dragged her out.

“For all the innocent blood you have spilled, your doom is near, “ Quinn yelled as the guard dragged her out.

“How dare her !” he snarled

She knows so much for her age!

I would have strangled her to death, but I will make her death humiliating. The whole pack members will dread my presence even more, and no one will dare disobey me or talk back at me.

Before rushing out of the cell, he resorted to the only thing - to eliminate her completely from the earth's surface. Then he won't have to worry his head about her ever anymore.

She felt pain engulfed her, “ was she going to go through the pain of shifting into her wolf form like she felt the first time she shifted when she was sixteen? Oh, no!” she cried more.

“My wolf won't be around for months to comfort me in this difficult time”

Now it makes sense to her.

Her passing out after she was pronounced an omega. Doing nothing and staying like a spellbind victim when Lucas almost marked her.
