Chapter 15

After being dragged into the bathroom by his father, Matthew's now being bathed like a two-year-old child. Michael was scrubbing his son vigorously since hasn't showered for the past few days. His mother, on the other hand, has offered nothing for comfort, thus sending Matthew deeper into depression.

"You can visit the babies today if you want," Michael said and it seemed to finally get Matthew's attention.

"How about Drake?" he asked, the first few words to be spoken by him after a few days.

"I'm not sure. Maybe he'll be there today too," he replied as he washed down his son's hair.

Luckily, Matthew took it upon himself to dry off and get dressed.

"I should've told him that earlier," Michale muttered under his breath.

He almost spent the whole morning dragging his more than two-hundred-pound son into the pond. That is equivalent to a week worth's of workouts. Michael just changed into some fresh clothes and bid goodbye to Lorraine before driving back to the hospital with Matthew. He
