Book 4: Chapter 91-Coffee

Jade woke up when a nurse came in. She looked at her father’s dextrose and temperature for a moment. She just signaled for her to come out and didn’t make any noise because everyone there was already asleep. She wants to laugh at her stepmother and sister instead of feeling sorry for them. They definitely didn’t leave, but they couldn’t stand for one of them to stay awake. Both were asleep and had their heads down on the side of her father’s bed.

Remembering where she was sleeping, she quickly looked up. She pityingly observed the young man, who was also sleeping while leaning on the sofa.
