MIQUEL'S P. O. V

“Come join hands with us!” Everyone in the throne room kept on bamboozling me. Their proficient drummers are not helping either. I wanted to say NO, but I lost my voice.

“Whatever he is demanding from you is a no” I kept on hearing the calm incentive voice. I felt a power carrying me from where I was, but Miguel appeared and pushed me away before I could join hands with them.

“Miguel.” I screamed and jerked upright.

“You made it brother” he smiled at me and I hugged him so tight.

“I made it all thanks to your assistance” I put in much effort to control my emotions.

“I'm hungry,” we said simultaneously and smiled.

“Greetings father” he nodded, staring at me intently.

“I'm sorry I inflicted the pain on you” the last thing I could remember was leaving the room to attend to his call. Father left us alone and that was a relief.

“Now that father left us for a while, let's do something interesting” he suggested, feeling exhilarated.

“Mother said father will be occupied, let's go” he left my room.

“I'm on the edge of your seat so you better not let me down” I breathe heavily trying to catch up with him. We got to the magnanimous palace garden, and I was wowed.

I stared at the garden, enjoying the view. The atmosphere looks so inducing. I inhaled the fresh hair, feeling exhilarated. I wish I could stay here all day.

“Are you listening to me?” Miguel tapped me and I came back to reality.

“Huh?” I turned to stare at him and screamed out, appalled. He was stark naked and his manhood was dangling as he faced me. I don't think I can do this anymore. I quickly turned back to him and covered my face, petrified.

“What was the scream for? I thought the alpha should be ballsy” he uttered, making me feel more sheepish.

“Can you stop calling me the alpha and I won't stare at you until you wear your clothes?” I was still backing him, my hands on my face.

“I'm so confused, we are the same gender, and you're acting like the opposite. I thought you would be thrilled to bits about seeing me transform into my wolf form, but I guess you're feeling disillusioned right now, let's get out of here then” he said in the death of despair.

“I will love to see you transform” I shrieked delightedly. I closed my eyes and counted ten and there before me is a medium fluffy wolf wagging its tail. I touched his fur tenderly. I know I will transform one day, but I keep asking myself when? I watched as he ran forth and back, admiringly.

An hour later, he came back in his human form and I threw his cloth at him.

“You're being unbelievable brother” he wore his cloth, sitting beside me. I looked away, mortified. I promised not to tell anyone, but Miguel is not anyone, right?

“It's almost dark, but I can teach you some fighting techniques” I changed the topic, and we swung to action.

It's been a month already and Miguel is now completely healed. The hall was filled to the brim with Alphas, Lunas and Gamers of the eighty Packs of father's subjects. Father was on a seat with his beautiful Luna beside him. Miguel sat down beside me for the first time. Today is a judgment day for Umberto. She had been in the dungeon since we fell into a coma. Maybe she would have been spared if mother and I were not involved. She dared to call the Alpha's beloved a bitch. The fact that father called the Alphas, Lunas and Gamers of the other Packs means the matter won't be taken lightly. Jason couldn't sit comfortably where he was seated.

“I told you she won't have a good end” Miguel whispered, feeling unfazed. People like her don't deserve a good end. I admit.

“Today, you all are present here to witness a very crucial matter, but before I proceed…” He mind-linked the guards, they came in and dropped Umberto roughly at the door. I looked at her, but couldn't figure out what was different about her. She crawled into the Courtroom at a snail's pace.

“This woman seated beside me is not just my mate, she is your Luna and my backbone, and Umberto dared to dishonor her!” Father was becoming hot under the collar. Everyone went quiet as the courtroom's temperature grew hot.

“Aside from that, you made my children unconscious. Days crawled into weeks, weeks to months. You should be grateful to the moon goddess, she woke them back to life” he let off the steam.

“This will serve as a deterrent to others who dishonor their Lunas” he minded linked the guards, and they held her harshly.

“Be delicate with her, she is with a child” Miguel said slowly, but they heard him. All eyes drifted to Miguel and me.

“Help me brother” he mind-linked me. That's what I noticed was different about her.

“Yes, father, she is pregnant” there was a little commotion in the hall as I confirmed the word.

  • The Alpha's Twins    Epilogue

Author's point of viewThe silent hall was steeped in darkness, with the only light coming from a single spotlight that shone down upon a young woman standing in the center of the room. The walls were draped in deep shades of purple and pink, with delicate twinkle lights twinkling softly in the background. The air was heavy with the scent of roses and other sweet flowers, their fragrance wafting through the air. She was dressed in an exquisite short skirt of pink silk and a silver blouse of lace, with delicate sparkles glinting in the light. Her hair was a cascade of gentle waves, with a few strands framing her face in an alluring, enticing manner. She was popularly known as Kristen Kim, the second-trending female celebrity in Canada. She had planned to give Alexander, her fiancé, a surprise proposal, and he lured to the hall through wrong information. She danced to the rhythm of the slow romantic music with a smile on her face. Detective Alexander walked in stealthily with

  • The Alpha's Twins    Laying Down Her Life

AUTHOR'S POV Valeria carried Shaquan delicately in her hands, but she noticed something was wrong. He was crying. She smiled at him sadly and caressed his head. He became cold suddenly. He stopped breathing. “No, Shaquan, you can't do this. No!” she wailed, pulling him tightly onto her. Valeria's tears soaked through Shaquan's furs as she held onto him tightly, unable to believe that her intelligent, vibrant son was gone. Her heart felt like it had shattered into a million pieces, and a wail of grief escaped her lips as she rocked back and forth on the floor with her beloved child cradled in her arms. Memories of his childhood flooded her mind, each one a fresh stab of pain that threatened to overwhelm her. She felt like a part of her had died alongside him, and the thought of never being able to hug him or hear his voice again was too much to bear. As the hours wore on, her sobs grew quieter but no less intense, and the other women could only offer silent support as t

  • The Alpha's Twins    Leaving The Pack

AUTHOR'S POV A MONTH LATER “You mean all the officials in our Pack refused to attend Miguel's burial?” Valeria demanded angrily, and Ceasor nodded sadly. Miguel had requested that his body shouldn't be buried. His funeral was done just like the time of ancient werewolves. Their body was put in a coffin and sent through an ocean no one knew the end of. The women and children were present, except for the officials. Valeria knew their minds already. They wanted her to step down and crown another Alpha or crown Prince Shaquan. She knew the burden would be too much for Shaquan and didn't care what they thought, but she wasn't going to crown a six-year-old child as the Alpha. They turned to leave but heard a battalion shouts. They were on their way to the palace. Valeria frowned since she wasn't notified before the Pack's gate was opened to some strangers. She sat down, ready for anything they were ready to say, and was a little surprised when she saw all the officials moving wi

  • The Alpha's Twins    Packs Betrayals

AUTHOR'S POV “I will be going somewhere that will take a while to return. Can you please take care of my Luna for me?” Shaquan stared innocently at Valeria, who couldn't meet his gaze. “Father, why don't we go together? That's what a family does, isn't it?” He demanded innocently with teary eyes. Valeria stood up and faced the wall, sobbing quietly. Miguel smiled and caressed Shaquan's face. “If we go together, then who will look after the pack? You're the future Alpha of this pack, and you will also be overseeing eighty neighbouring packs. So, my son, you have a lot of work to do.” Shaquan stared at his fingers. “So, do you promise to take care of my mate, yourself and the pack on my behalf?” He stared at the sad smile his father had on and nodded. Valeria moved closer to him and the family embraced each other, with Valeria in tears. The day in Wolfgang's pack was quiet. Carissa and Demetrius were missing, and the Alpha and Beta are ill. No one was smiling.

  • The Alpha's Twins    A Change Of Heart

AUTHORESS' POV “You mean Demetrius was acting weird after he came back from the autopsy office?” Alpha Miguel demanded again, and Craspina nodded. Valeria paced back and forth with worry. “Can you do anything, like try to find out where he is right now?” They had been trying to mind-link Demetrius, but none were able to. Valeria shook her head negatively at her mate's request. “My mind is filled with worry at the moment. To communicate with my powers now will be exhausting,” Miguel nodded in understanding. He stood up from his throne seat and almost fell down as he felt a sharp pain in his heart. “She is in trouble. Her heartbeat is really faint!” Valeria held him as he managed to pull himself together. “I'm just going to attempt to get their location this once.” Caesar stayed behind Miguel while they all hoped Valeria would succeed. They knew it was likely that Demetrius and Carissa were with each other. Valeria was trying her best to concentrate, but she

  • The Alpha's Twins    The Law Of Casualty

Author's POV Carissa wiped her tears as she urged the horse to race faster. She could feel it; Demetrius was getting really hurt. She could feel how much he was trying his best to overcome the troops of Xerxes. She knew her troops would be trying their best as well. Memories of her last meeting with Demetrius came back to her where she had told him she didn't regret all of her actions. She knew she was lying to herself. She regretted every horrible thing she had done to him. Her fate was being repeated. She had never trusted her mate in her past lives, which led to her downfall, but she was ready to make a change in this life. She was ready to give up her life for his sake. Jason must have informed Xerxes that the weak point of werewolves was a frozen place. That must have been the reason he lured her mate to the ice lake. She climbed down from the horse and closed her eyes, saying some few prayers. She got to the lake and many lives were lost. Some of her troops are d
