I stared at him blankly. I wanted to move closer to him, and embrace him tightly. I really felt like thanking him for finally confessing his feelings, but, I didn't think it was the right time to do such, cause his facial expression had a really crazy mixed feeling. He looked angry, sad, and jealous.
I didn't mention a thing as well. Although I was really excited, I was equally nervous and hesitant. I wasn't sure of how to react at all. I knew he was being genuine, but in a way, I had some crazy doubts.
The fact that he always insulted me, really made me feel discouraged about the whole thing. I didn't want to get hurt whenever he ended up sputtering some mean words in my face, and I also never wanted to be affected by love any longer.
