Ashley never thought that he would see his mate so  early.  He had only being a vampire for about five  years,  give or take some months.  He had  thought that Gwen was an anomaly for finding  her mate early but now,  he was one too.  

   To find your mate is very rare, but for two less than a decade vampires to be mated to two of the oldest vampires.  It brings a new meaning of robbing  the cradle.
