Chapter 3

             Blake POV

Waking up the next morning, I look over to see that Tammy is still asleep. I get out of the bed carefully, not wanting to wake her up. I have to get ready for this meeting. The alphas will be arriving soon.

After getting dressed, I make my way through the empty castle to get Tim. As I walk through the castle I look around the empty halls that are normally filled with wolves and children running around. I stop at Tim's room knocking on the door. "Come in" I enter the room to see that he's still in bed.

"Tim the alphas will be here soon, you need to attend the meet. You have the right to defend your self." I tell him.

"Will Tammy be attending the meeting?" He asked.

"No, I didn't wake her she's still asleep."

He gives me a nod as he gets out of bed.

I purposely plan the meeting early this morning, knowing Tammy will still be asleep. I don't think it's a good idea for her to attend the meeting. Things will be said and if any of the alphas say something to offend or hurt her in any way, I may not be able to stop myself from killing them.

I leave Tim's room so he can get ready. "Blake the alphas have started to arrive," Fred tells me.

"Take them to the meeting room. I will be down in a minute." I go check to see if Tammy is still asleep. I slowly open the room door, looking inside to see that she's still the way I left her. I slowly close the door carefully, knowing it's best if she doesn't come.

Making my way through the halls, I meet up with Tim. "The alphas have all arrived, its time," I say to him, leading the way to the meeting room with Tim right beside me.

I'm truly not in the mood to deal with these young disrespectful alphas and I pray they don't get brave and decides to test my patience today.

There are Fourteen alphas bloodlines and each bloodline have a main pack. The Fourteen main packs are the largest and the strongest and are lead by the firstborn son of their entire bloodline. It's in an alpha male nature to lead not to follow, So most of the time the second born, third born, etc will leave the pack forming their own packs. But any alpha male has the right to challenge another alpha male for his pack. There are many packs out there. Over the years some of them have become almost as big and strong as the main fourteen.

I walk through the meeting room doors causing everyone to go silent. I let my dominance fill the room, letting the alphas feel my power. I have to show them that the power they hold doesn't come close to mine. I'm the Apex predator in the room. They may think that I enjoy making them submit to me, but I truly get no pleasure out of it. But it has to be done. I have to make them accept me as their superior. The same way I have done with their forefathers.

I take my seat at the end of the long rectangular table. Tim take the seat to the left of me. I start looking all of the young alphas into their eyes challenging them. One by one they all looked down bowing their heads submitting, not wanting to accept my challenge.

Summiting is not in an alpha male’s nature, but they have no choice, either they summit or accept my challenge and die. I have to go through this with every generation of the firstborn alphas. I have to show them that their place is not above me, and the sooner they accept it the easier things will be.

Once I get to alpha James he holds eye contact with me a little longer than the rest of them before bowing his head summiting. I expected that from him. I always have trouble with the James bloodline.

"Do you really have to do that every fucking time we have a meeting!" One of the alphas growls out.

"Watch your tone when you speak to me, or I promise you I will make it so you never speak again." I glare across the table at him, letting out a low warning growl. He glares back holding my gaze letting out a growl of his own, challenging me.

I let out a loud roar, quickly making my way across the room to him before he even gets a chance to move. I grab a fist full of his hair slamming his head down hard, pushing his face into the table. I lean down close to his face flashing elongated teeth.

"You listen and you listen closely because this is the first and last time I will say this. I know that your nature drives you to be at the top of the food chain, but if you ever challenge me again I will rip your throat out and watch you choke on your own blood. That's not a threat it's a promise." I growl into his face before letting him go.

His jaws clench down as he slowly lifts his head up from the table, keeping his head down. I stand there waiting to see if he want to test me. Once I was sure that he got the message, I make my way back to my seat.

"Just making sure we all know our place here," I tell them, showing them that I view them as no threat.

"Why is he here?" Another alpha stands to his feet growling and glaring at Tim. His teeth start to elongate and his fingernails are replaced by sharp black claws.

Tim stands to his feet knocking his chair over growling. He glares back flashing sharp teeth, accepting the alpha challenge.

I slam my fist into the table getting both of their attention.

"Sit!!" They both take a sit still glaring at each other. "He has the right to be here to defend himself and to tell his side of the story. I'm su-"

The meeting room door opens getting everybody's attention. I look over to see Tammy walk through the door frowning. I see her eyes scanning over everyone at the table. When her eyes landed on Tim, she let out a sigh once she sees that he's okay. She looks over at me with a glare.

I let out a sigh as I get up and walk over to her. "Why didn't you wake me, you knew I wanted to be here." She asks looking over at the alphas sitting at the table.

"I didn't want to wake you," I tell her, not wanting her to be here.

"Well, you should've thought about that before you decided to roar out, waking me up." She walks past me taking the seat to the right of my chair. I let out another sigh knowing it's not a good idea for her to be here. Heading back to my seat, I see some of the unmated alphas watching Tammy as she takes her seat. I let out a low growl, warning them to keep his eyes off what belongs to me.

I place a kiss on the top of her head, looking at every alpha making sure neither of them is lusting after what's mine, before taking my seat again. I look over at Tim to see him looking at me with a frown.

"Tammy being here is not a good idea Blake," Tim tell me through the mind link.

"Well she's here now, and you know she's not going to leave until she is sure that you're okay," I tell him closing the mind link.

"Like I was saying before my beautiful mate joined us. Tim has the right to be here to tell his side of the story. I'm sure all of you have heard stories of what happened here, so it's only fair that you hear Tim's side of the story as well." I tell them all.

"Yes, my men have told me what that boy did." One of the alphas says glaring at Tim.

"And what exactly did they say happened?" Tammy ask the alpha before I even have a chance to respond.

"That he lost control and started attacking everyone for no reason." He turns his attention to Tammy.

"Your men are lying." Tammy glare at the alpha. I place my hand on her shoulder silently telling her to calm down. She may be small and sweet but she does have a feisty side to her that she never really let show. I can see that the alphas are having an inner battle with themselves. They're not used to someone who's weaker than them to hold eye contact and talk to them the way Tammy is doing.

"Of course you're going to say they are lying just to save your brother." The alpha says.

"Members of my pack who was here at the time of the incident told me the same." Another alpha joins the argument. Tammy's head snaps towards the alpha with a glare on her face.

"Well, I guess that makes your men liars also," Tammy tells the other alpha.

"Maybe you're the one who's lying." One of the alphas says glaring at Tammy.

I let out a low warning growl, not liking the way he's looking at Tammy. He quickly moves his gaze off of her. "We will let Tim tell his side of the story then we will take it from there." I stop the argument before things get out of hand.

"Now is your time to speak Tim," I tell him.

"Well I was just leaving the healers with Tammy, and that's when we were stopped by the group of males. Every time I would try to move around them they would move in front of us continuing to block our path. They kept calling me weak and other names. I didn't let that get to me. But then one of the guys pushed me, then another guy punched me in my face. I told Tammy to go and get you because I felt myself starting to lose control to the blood moon. I was trying to calm myself the way you showed me, but then all the guys around me started to shift into their wolves, so I shifted to protect myself. When the fight started that's when I lost complete control. I really didn't mean to kill them." I can see in Tim's eyes that he truly didn't mean to kill them.

"We have witnesses who say it didn't happen that way, do you have any witnesses to back up your story other than your sister?" One of the alphas asks Tim.

"There were lots of people standing by watching, but I'm sure they're not going to come to my defense against their friends and family," Tim say to the alpha.

"He has no one to confirm his story of what happened. This is a neutral ground where every wolf from any pack is welcome. He has killed on neutral ground, the punishment for breaking that law is death." He's right the punishment for breaking that law was death, but I can't kill Tim.

I let out a sighed, I'm about to go against one of my main laws.

"Tim is the only family my mate has left. I was hoping we could all agree to another punishment for Tim crimes." I tell them knowing my words would fall on death ears.

"I will not agree to any other punishment. Death is the punishment for his crime as the law says. If he can kill and get away with it, others will feel as they can do the same. No one is above the law so either you can enforce the law or we will. He may have taken out some weak common wolves easily, but let's see him try to take on fourteen firstborn alphas." One of the alphas says glaring at Tim, while all the other alphas nod their head in agreement.

He's right this will cause the wolves to feel as they can break the laws. Every law that I set is for a reason. The alphas may not like or understand why I set the laws that I put in place, but they are in place to keep the peace amongst the wolves and amongst the other supernatural creatures. If I don't punishment Tim as the law says, others will feel as they don't have to obey the law and that could start another war amongst the supernaturals. I look over at Tim and he gives me a nod telling me it's okay.

"Sister I chose to become a lycan and everything that came with being a lycan. Me being your brother does not mean I'm above the law. I have to pay for what I did." I see Tammy looking at me waiting for me to say something. Once she realized I wasn't going to argue against what Tim just said, her eyes start to fill with tears. I can feel how hurt and angry she is through our mate bond. My beast is trying to take control to comfort its mate. I just know I'm going to lose her after doing this.

"Blake you promised me you wouldn't kill him." Tears start to roll down her face, breaking me on the inside to know I'm the cause of those tears.

"I'm sorry Tammy, but Tim is right he's not above the law," I tell her breaking a promise I should have never made.

I look up to see a look of shock on all of the alphas faces like they weren't expecting me to say that.

"No one is going to kill my brother!!" Tammy slaps her hand down on the table. I watch as She takes the ring off her finger and sits it on the table in front of me. My beast is pissed at me and is mentally clawing and biting at me, causing me to wince at the pain in my head. Tammy stands to her feet and makes her way around the table pulling Tim out of the chair by his shirt.

I just sit here watching her. All I want to do is hold her and my arms and tell her everything's going to be okay, but everything's not going to be okay. Tim will have to pay for his crimes as the law says.

"We're leaving now!" She says to Tim pulling him towards the door.

"My queen your brother will die one way or another and if you try to stop it you will join your brother." One of the alphas tells Tammy.

I'm up in a blink of the eye. I grab the alpha by his throat lifting him up in the air from his chair. "You young fool!! How dare you come to my home and threaten my mates life!! Have you forgotten your place or have you just lost your fucking mind! You will be the one who dies here today!!!" I feel my claws slowly starting to sink into his neck causing blood to roll down my arm. I look into his eyes, wanting to see the moment the life leaves his body.

"I-im sorry, ple-please for-forgive me my ki-king." I hear him say struggling to get his words out.

"I don't give a fuck about your apology and I don't forgive!!" I continue to slowly sink my claws into his neck. I can feel my teeth start to elongate, my beast wanting to spill his blood.

Out the corner of my eye, I see Tammy looking at me with fear in her eyes.

Not wanting her to see this side of me, I stop myself from ripping his throat out.

This is the first time she has ever seen the beast in me angry. I throw the alpha to the floor watching him gasp for air.

"Leave now!" My body shakes with anger ready to shift

"All of you get out now!! Tim will not be killed and that's final!" I watch as all the alphas get up and leave the room without saying another word.

I stand here breathing heavily still shaking with anger as the beast fight to be let out.

”Blake.” I feel Tammy place her hand on my back rubbing in a circular motion, helping me to calm down. I turn around pulling her into my chest inhaling her scent. That will be the first and last time someone threatens her life and lives.

"So now what?" I hear Tim ask.

The meeting room door opens and Fred walks into the room.

"Blake wolves are gathering at the north border," Fred tells me with a frown.

"Stay here with Tammy," I tell Fred as I place a soft kiss on Tammy's lips then make my way out of the room. If it's a fight these wolves want then a fight they will get. As I make my way out of the castle Tim catches up with me,

"I'm coming with you." I don't respond just continue walking towards the northern border of my land, with Tim right beside me.

Once we approach the north border I see a sea of wolves all shifted. At the front of the group, I see all fourteen firstborn alphas leading them.

"If any of you do not wish to die today, now is your time to leave and go home to your mates and families." I let my voice boom over the huge crowd before me. This will be their only chance to live. I stand here watching as some of them start to walk off leaving the fight.

Smart choice.

"We won't be the ones who die here today." I hear one of the alphas say. All the alphas start to shift into their wolves. The sea of wolves start to form a big circle around Tim and I. I look over at Tim, he gives me a nod telling me that he is ready.

"Stay close," I tell Tim. I know Tim is much stronger than these wolves, but there are a lot of them and they could overpower him, so I need him to stay close just in case he needs my help. I let out a loud roar shifting into my beast. I raise up on my hind legs and let out a deep growl, looking down at the wolves. I can see the fear in their eyes as they feel the power pouring from me.

The first wolf attack leaping into the air aiming a bite to my face.

Dodging his attack, I drag sharp claws across the soft flesh of his underbelly. He let out a loud whimper, falling to the ground with his intestines hanging out. I stomp down on his head delivering the death blow then the fight starts.

I move quickly through the large crowd of wolves. My sharp claws and teeth rip through them like a knife through butter soaking the snow with blood. The wolves bite and claw sinking teeth into me, ripping away flesh, but unlike them, all my wombs are healing instantly. I look over to see Tim killing every wolf in his path. I see the alphas just standing there keeping their distance as I kill wolf after wolf. I let out a deep growl realizing they are using these wolves as puns in this fight. I start to make my way towards the alphas, slicing through the path of wolves, trying not to kill them now. They are blindly following their alphas. Not knowing they are puns.

"Blake get back to the castle!" Fred tells me through the mind link. Suddenly I feel this pain in my chest that knocks me down to one knee. It's not my pain, this is Tammy pain I feel through the mate bond. I look around to see all the wolves starting to run off. My eyes met with alpha James. He gives me a stupid wolfy smirk before they all turn running off leaving with the wolves.

I get up and quickly take off toward the castle with Tim right behind me. As we approach the castle I see smoke coming from the front entrance. A wolf runs out of the castle, my beast fights to chase him down and kill him but I need to get to Tammy.

As I Shift back and run into the castle, I see blood and dead bodies that been ripped apart everywhere. I see Fred on the ground bloody, but still in his wolf form letting me know he's still alive.

"Get Fred out of here, I'll get Tammy." I follow her scent, leading me back to the meeting room. Busting through the door I see her on the floor bloody and broken. I quickly get to her and I pick her up gently and quickly make my way out the burning castle.

I lay her bloody and broken body on the ground. I hear a faint heartbeat that's barely able to be detected but it's there. "B-Bl-Blake I should've pr-, it's my fa-f-fault." Fred says coughing up a lot of blood, choking.

"Tammy, wake up. Please I need for you to wake up for me." I slightly slap the side of her face begging her to wake up. My eyes started to burn with tears. I can't lose her.

"Blake you have to change her, Blake change her now before it's too late!!" Tim yell standing over us with tears running down his face.

"I can't change her against her will! She has to consent to the change, if not my venom will kill her!" I tell him, I can't lose her, I just can't.

"Please Tammy you have to wake up. Only for a second please it will only take a second." I hold her in my arms begging her to open her eyes but I'm left with no reply. Then I hear her faint heartbeat stop completely.

I let out a loud roar from the pain I feel inside. I feel the mate bond starting to break. It feels as if my insides are being ripped out of my body. Tears started to pour from my eyes and sobs break from my mouth. I sit here on the ground rocking her back and forth begging her to come back to me. She was my life, my everything and now they have taking her and my unborn child from me. I will kill them all. I feel my pain turn into this burning rage. I look over at Fred to see him still coughing and choking on his own blood.

Feeling my beast starting to take over, I don't fight it, I just push myself back giving it full control. The beast wants blood and blood it will get starting with the wolf who did this to her. I sniff her body smelling the scent of that wolf all over her. The same wolf that I saw running out of the castle. I stand up shaking with anger as I shift into my beast and take off with Tim right behind me.

I follow the scent for miles leading me into this building. I continue to follow the scent until I find the guy just standing there as if he's waiting for me.

As I enter the room, the guy quickly steps through another door sliding it shut.

I look over, hearing the other door slam shut behind us.

Shifting back I go to push the door open to kill whoever is out there. I touched the door only to be met with the sound of sizzling and pain. I pull my hand back to see it's burned. I looked around realizing the room is made of silver. I run to the door at full speed trying to knock it down only to be met with more Burns again.

"It's done, they are trapped inside the silver box." I hear a male voice say to someone on the phone. "Good I'll be there soon." I hear a male reply from the other end of the call.

Tim and I continue to run and claw against the door trying to break it down. "It's useless this room is made of thick solid silver!!" Tim yells out punching the wall as I start to hear someone outside of the silver box.

"Well well well it looks like I caught myself a big bad monster." I hear a male say. The voice I hear doesn't sound familiar, but the cockiness in his voice pisses me off even more.

"Open the fucking door!" The words coming out through clenched teeth.

"Maybe if you ask nicely." He says laughing.

"Open this fucking door now!!!" I lace each word with command.

"That will not work on me. I had a powerful witch to put a spell on the silver box. As long as you are inside the box that little command of yours will not work." He says sounding amused.

"You see I have been planning this for a long time now. When I found out you changed that boy into a Lycan he became the first piece to the puzzle. It wasn't hard to get all the firstborn alphas on board seeing that they hate you. But I knew that the common wolves wouldn't fight against their big bad king that they love so much, so I had to give them a reason to think that you weren't fit to be their king. All I had to do was make the boy lose control during the blood moon, causing him to kill on your land. I knew you wouldn't be able to kill him for his crime, seeing that he is your mate brother. That's all I needed to trick the wolves to fight. I knew they would fight for their dead family and friends that the boy killed." I let out a deep growl hearing how they plotted against me.

"Your mate was the last piece to the puzzle. I sent my men there to kill her while you were busy fighting with the wolves. I knew once she was dead you would be blinded by rage, throwing off them sharp scenes of yours, leading you right into my trap. I may not be strong enough to kill you...yet, but this box is strong enough to lock you away forever. Maybe everyone else is okay with bowing down to you, but I bow down to no one!! I'm the alpha of alphas! I'm the alpha king!" He growls out.

I let out a loud roar causing Tim to back away from me covering his ears. "I'm going to kill all of you!!" I roar out as I start to punch and claw at the walls of the silver box, trying to get out.

He started laughing "You shouldn't make promises you can't keep."

I started to feel the silver box move "What's going on?" Tim ask.

"Don't worry, just moving you somewhere no one will ever find you." I hear the male say, laughing.

After what felt like days of sitting in this silver box angry, clawing at the walls, the box finally came to a stop.

My beast is restless and angry and I'm sure Tim feels the same way with being trapped inside this silver box with nowhere to go.

"Tim being trapped in this box will eventually drive our beast crazy, causing us to lose control and kill each other." If that happens he will not stand a chance against me. "We have to put ourselves into a deep sleep," I tell him leaving him with a look of confusion on his face.

"How the fuck are we going to do that!?" I let out a low growl warning him to calm down. I can see being trapped inside this silver box is already messing with him.

"Just relax and concentrate on slowing your heart beat down. Once you slow it down enough you will slip into a deep sleep. You may not be able to bring yourself out of the sleep, so I will wake you when I wake up." I watch him do as I say. After a few minutes, his body stop moving completely appearing to be dead, I can barely hear the sound of his heartbeat.

I lay down and take in a calming breath as I close my eyes, feeling my heart rate starting to slow down.

I will find a way out of this box and when I do, Tammy I will make them pay for what they did to you.
