Chapter 9

My good holy Lord, I have lots of dreams in life. I want to travel around the world, manage our company and have a happy family. I don't want to die young! But if this would be my last time breathing in this universe, I hope I would be reincarnated and meet my friends in my second life.

How ironic it is to die just because of a scissor and a moron above pressuring me to hand it to him.

I was stiffened in my position after my back hit onto something hard. I don't know if I am now paralysed or dead but one thing's for sure, I can feel my heart beating so fast.

My heart continues pounding with a heavy breath inside me, I don't know if this is the sign of dying but I heard someone clearing a throat near me.

"Ms. President, wake up," a familiar baritone voice whispered in my ear, giving me goosebumps.

Am I alive? No, I am alive! I am certainly alive!

I slowly opened my eyes and widened at once as his ocean blue eyes met mine. It's like sparkling water from a wide sea drowning the hell out of me. His pointed nose is so sexy plus his pink pouty lips can seduce and fool every other woman he could meet.

My heart was screaming inside when he smiled, exposing his cute little dimple on the right cheek. I haven't noticed him having one actually. I think I am melting with his stares.

"Am I handsome?" he asked.

"Yes," I unconsciously answered. Too late for me to realise and take back what I have said.

"I know you like me," my reflexes suddenly came back as I heard his words with a smirk. Thick faced monster!

I quickly punched his hard chest a lot of times. Instead of being hurt, he just smiled. So, I shook my body off until he put me down. I was about to slap him but before I could do it, he waved his hand on the air.

"Reminder; one slap, one kiss," he reminded, facing his cheek on me. I rolled my eyes and irritatedly walked away in his direction.

"You're welcome for saving you!" he continued, trying to piss me off. I didn't bother to turn my back just to thank him. I'm glad I'm saved but not glad to the person who saved me.

My irritation growed more when the guy above shouted "Hey, the scissor!"

I took a deep breath before irritatingly throwed it to the guy next to Blake. "Give it to him, an order from your student body president," he nodded before I walked away.

I frustratingly brushed my hair and covered my face using my hands as soon as I reached my seat. How long would my life be miserable and messed up around this guy? I groaned in frustration after realising my thoughts.

"Hey," I didn't dare to take a view on him.

"Stop pestering me, okay?!" I shouted without looking at him.

"I just… just… wanna ask for your signature… to confirm our attendance," I made a view on him stammering, but I was taken aback seeing the guy who I ordered to hand the scissor.

"Oh sorry, I didn't mean it," I apologised, lending my hand to get the sheet.

I scanned the paper he gave me which indicates the names of the basketball team. They are obliged to assist for the decoration as their training and below is my signature, as a proof that they are doing their part. I was surprised when my sight saw Blake's name, that answers why he is acting so arrogant.

After affixing my signature, I handed it back to him and announced to stop what they were doing. We shall continue this one tomorrow.

"Bye, Amber."

"See you, Ms. President."

"We will go ahead."

I nodded to all their greetings. I am limiting myself to talk back because I might say foul words to a wrong person again.

"See you tomorrow, Ms. President," I turned my back to see who's talking. My blood instantly boiled as I saw Blake with the moron guy beside him and other basketball players at their back.

I dashed my way to them and gave the moron a slap on his face. He was surprised looking at me, holding his face.

"Uh-oh one slap for Thunder!" the guy at his back laughed.

I crossed my arms over my chest and raised my brow. "So, your name is Thunder? Did you know that I almost died because of you?" I hollered.

He released a smirk. "Did I? Oh, I'm sorry," he answered sarcastically then tapped Blake's shoulder. "Thank you for saving our president who slapped me," he continued, shaking his head in disbelief.

"If only I knew Thunder, I should've not caught her and let her bones be broken instead," he chortled, making their way out.

I was rooted in my place as they left me dumbfounded. Now, I have to deal with a two day breaker.

It was already dark when I got out from the area. I hurriedly headed my way to the parking lot and fished the key from my bag. As soon as I found it, I instantly plopped myself on the seat and slammed my hands on the steering wheel. I am deeply annoyed with one person and now added one moron like him. What should I do? This would really affect my performance in school.

I took a deep breath, inserted the key and started the engine. Maybe I should try not talking and minding them. I safely drove off my car and luckily arrived home alive. I must eat a lot this meal to celebrate my second life.

"Marcus! I'm home!" I yelled, throwing myself on the couch, massaging my temples.

I heard no footsteps coming or any voice answering me so I called him back louder. Maybe he hasn't heard me.

"Marcus!"

Soon after, louder footsteps can be heard.

"Ma'am, Sir Marcus is not around, he is out of town," our housemaid, Charie, reminded me. I slapped my forehead two times and rested my feet on the center table.

"Yes, I forgot. Please prepare me some food," I pleased before leaning myself on the couch.

"Your eyes are cute," a girl commented, staring sweetly to a young man beside her while carefully sitting on the big branch of a tree.

The boy patted her head and smiled sheepishly. "You are cuter," he answered with a wink.

"You know what, let's climb up higher and get some fruits," he suggested, slowly stepping his right foot on the branch while his hands reached the smaller branch above them.

When he finally composed himself upright, he made a slow motion body shake as if a macho dancer dancing on a pole. The girl laughed so hard while witnessing the scene not until the boy stepped his foot on the wrong place causing him to lose his balance.

"Nooo!" I screamed between my heavy breath. I quickly sat down, hunched my back and covered my face using my palm. That was strange.

I took a few deep breaths while my heart is still racing inside. The fast pounding of my chest makes me feel dying as I am slowly losing my air. I heaved a loud sigh while placing my hands on my chest. I never thought to have a near death experience again just because of a dream. Since then, I never liked sleep dreams because it made my head and heart ache. I tardily opened my eyes and scanned the area I was in, making my brows raised. Did I have a sleep walk? I am still here in the living room.

"Ma'am, is there a problem?" Charie asked. I shifted my view on her who has a concerned look.

"Can you please give me a glass of water?" I said in a broken voice. My heart really aches, I can even feel the water on my eyes preparing to land down.

After a second, Charie came into view, handed me the glass of water. I immediately accepted it and took a few sips.

"Ma'am, your food is ready," another girl talked. We actually have four housemaids but I don't know all their names.

To conclude, it was a bad dream cause of tiredness.

"Just bring my food to my room," I replied.

I dizzily rushed my way upstairs before I could sleep on the couch again. Maybe I should take a bath first before eating.
