Chapter 33
"Hey, what the…!" Daniel shouted as we both bent forward by the impulse of the car. I immediately slammed my feet on the brakes again, bringing the car to an abrupt stop right in the middle of the road.
"Uh…I think I'll better take the wheel." Daniel slowly said and opened the door, he got greeted with hundreds of loud honks as I quickly opened the door to walk out but quickly closed it again because of the oncoming vehicle. When it passed, I reopened the door and hopped out, quickly walking to the other side of the car as Daniel hopped into the drivers seat. I entered the passengers seat and closed the door as Daniel pressed his feet on the accelerator, making the car move forward with a nice, slow speed.
"Uhm, unless I want to die, remind me never to let you drive again." Daniel joked but I didn't laugh.
"Deal." I said. This was all a bad idea in the first place even. Well, at least I got one good lesson

"Hold on, let me get this," Daniel said, holding up one finger as I nodded to him. He brought his phone out of his shirt pocket and I moved towards the kitchen cabinet. I retrieved some frying pans and finally settled on a medium sized one to use to fry eggs. I was suddenly in the mood for Daniel's bacon and eggs and I wanted him to teach me how he made such a delicious delicacy."Good afternoon to you too, Ashley." I heard him say behind me. It was that Ashley girl again. Ugh, she had really perfect timing."Why are you asking that?" Daniel asked, walking slowly, to and fro the kitchen. I brought out some eggs from the bags Daniel had helped me carry inside and started to crack them."I know I've never had a problem with you asking where I am but...I don't know, I'm quite busy now, can we talk later?" He asked. I removed some eggshells from the bowl I cracked the eggs into and headed to the gas cooker to light it up.

Daniel's POV.I gripped my right leg as unimaginable pain shot up my leg, causing me to yell in pain. I glanced down at my shot leg.
