A DIFFICULT CHOICE
Sarah had begged Arnold relentlessly but he still went. She was left alone with her panic and worry. She tried hard to focus on the huge pile of work that had accumulated over the previous week but it was useless.
Suddenly she started feeling a bit queasy in her stomach, bile rose to her throat and she had to rush to the bathroom to throw up.
She came out of the bathroom and wiped her mouth with a towel. Drops of sweat beaded on her forehead.

But now, he felt a knot in his stomach every time he lied. He crossed his fingers as he decided to tell Sarah about today’s meeting. She would get angry but he would find a way to make up to her. It was better than feeling like this.

He could only hope that his choice was accepted.He let out a sigh of relief when the call got connected.

Arnold and Sarah were sitting on the floor with a bewildered expression, covered in glitter from head to toe. The noise of explosion ha startled them causing them to fall on the floor.The stranger was bent over with laughter. Sia was still in his arms and was giggling too.Arnold blinked his eyes again and again. He frowned and looked around trying to get a hold on what had happened. Was this some kind of joke? He didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. On one hand, he was happy that he wasn’t killed but his mind was still reeling in distress.
