Meeting Tinders

Are you crazy?" Frank yelled over the line.
Truth is I felt the same way but there was no way I was going to know more if I did not track my sister.
"Will you help me, Frank?"
"I will but I'm following you."
The more, the safer, I thought.
"Ok."
Frank instructed me to wait for him outside which I did. The sun was a bit harsh but I desperately wanted to get to this McCoy.
I had done research on him though. I went through Krista's phone and stumbled on her Facebook. Steve through her page, I learned she was Facebook buddies with the guy before she blocked Him.
No messages but I found a photo with both of them holding hands and smiling affectionately to the camera.
This went further to fuel my belief that I wast involved enough in Kristy's life.
My phone chimed. Two messages. One from Frank and the other From my Dad.
The latter got me curious so I checked.
"How is it going?"
That was weird. My father barely cared what I was doing with my life so I figured it was because Krissy was involved.
"The Faes abandoned the search. I'm on my own now. I believe she was taken by weres." I sent and checked Frank's message.
"Coming. Pinpointed where he might be."
I switched my phone off to get a break. My head pulsed and my stomach growled. I hadn't had anything in the morning but thanks to Kristy's apartment being on a lease, I had enough money to get fries.
My phone rang again.
Nicole's face popped up.
I picked up.
"Still not well."
"I—'m actually in Fayash already."
"What! Without me?"
" I just came to see Kristy. She's unwell." I half lied.
"I guess it's a twin thing then."
"Yes. I have to go now. I'll call you Nicole."
"You never do.
Beep and she cut the line.
A motorcycle pulled up right near me throwing dust and gravel right into my face.
I flared and got up to give the rider a piece of my deadly tongue but he pulled off his helmet.
"Frank!"
I never knew he was a bike person. He looked like a guy that would have a fleet of cars.
"Sorry. My baby swerved too hard."
He's one of them.
I had nothing against guys who loved their bikes but it was just a tad weird.
"So where is he?"
Frank passed me a helmet.
"Yes. He's in a neighboring town. A place called Esterview."
"Let's go then."
"Careful with the upholstery. I just washed it." He warned.
Like I said with Boys and their bikes, inseparable. I wished I could scratch it to enrage him.
***
Esterview was a small neighboring town close to Fayash. Looking at it, one would think it was a country town. Animals moving freely, Ladies cooking and Men drinking. A typical suburb.
"Are we close?" I yelled since that was the only way he could hear me.
"Yes. My source says he should be un the bar." Frank pointed to a falling apart wood box far in the corner.
I could see men going in and out of the ancient building that didn't deserve the title 'Bar'. The thought of being surrounded in a place Miscreant called home scared me. I was grateful I was not alone.
If McCoy could be in a place like this, I wondered how he met my sister. There were a lot of things I was yet to understand.
The silver Suzuki halted close to the crowd of other bikes. Some far superior to Frank's. I got down and handed the helmet to Frank then strode down to the bar's entrance to have a talk with McCoy when an arm dragged me back.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"Going in while you take good care of your lady." I mocked.
"So you're jealous " his flaring emerald orbs probed me.
I felt myself flush even I places I haven't before.
"You must think you're some prince Charming."
"Well I've had some people call me handsome so I wouldn't be surprised."
"Will you stop flirting so we can concentrate on getting this guy."
His lips twisted into a wicked grin.
"So I'm distracting you?"
It took every inch of my body and soul not to direct a punch into his guts.
Curse his good looks and dangerously tinted hair!
"Let's go please."
"Ok, Miss." He took out his key and deposited it in his chest pocket forcing me to steal a look at his albs. It wasn't a choice since he had two buttons undone.
I think he noticed and he gave one of his knock out smiles, I quickly looked away and proceeded to go into the bar with or without him.
It wasn't long before he took to his heels to join me.
I felt like the most exposed person in the world opening the doors. It was even worse when everyone in the bar tilted their eyes in my direction like a bride going up the aisle.
Frank was by my side. Hand in hand and looking just as menacing. Wrong! The men in the bar were bears. Some with Tattoos enough to paint a dollhouse and scars that told deadly tales od terrible fights they orchestrated or joined in.
Even Frank felt the same way, his fingers trembled when a man walked up to him and pointed a bottle to his face before laughing to his peers and walking away.
"Hey!" Someone touched me at my shoulder region. The touch made shudder and I turned to meet the most gorgeous blue eyes.
They reminded me of the sea after a turbulent storm and they belonged to McCoy.
"You!" I snapped, slapping of his hands from my body.
"Hey. You came here on your own. Are you here to apologize?"
"No. I'm not Kristy and you know it!"
I don't know what came over me but I reached out for his neck with the intent to break them.
"You bastard! Where is Kristy?"
It took Frank and two hefty men to keep me down.
McCoy grimaced and picked a chair. He sat rather comfortably and instructed his men to leave me. They did excluding Frank who didn't trust my instinct. I had managed to keep the beast but for how long?
"You know. You look a lot like Kristy Valerie."
A shocker there. McCoy knew my name.
"How do you know that?!" I asked, disoriented.
"Your name? Kristy told me. When we were together, she wouldn't shut up about you."
"Well tell us where she is?" I demanded, going closer to him but Frank kept me put.
"Why would you think I know where she is? It's not like I keep tabs on my ex's."
How I wanted to be released just to tear away at his skin.
He kept on staring menacingly to my eyes as if searching for something.
"So you're also not a stalker? Cause you stalked her for a whole month. You perverted son of a dog."
"Wolf actually." He corrected.
It was a wonder he was enjoying this. Probably because I was the one being tormented.
I calmed myself down. I wasn't getting anywhere with my call girl attitude. I had to act smart.
"I just want to know if you have any information as to where she can be."
McCoy snickered, his eyes watching my every moment and it made me so uncomfortable that I stopped moving and even breathing became a hassle. Everything about him made me uncomfortable. His deep blue eyes, his demeanor, his wheat hair. It was all.to disturbing.
He was a mystery.
"I have no idea where Kristy is. I have given up on her since my beating from the Vampires. They almost ruined my bad reputation."
"And you expect us to believe that?" Frank cut in.
"Yes, pretty boy. Because that's all you're getting from the Tinder pack alpha."
His comment got a jeer from the bears and hunks in the house.
It made me feel even more threatened.
They were all part of his pack.
"Well, thanks for your help." I rushed then made signs to Frank signaling that it was time to leave.
A bald bearded man blocked our parts and that was when I knew the true meaning of cowardice.
"Wha—t's going on?" I stammered.
I saw Frank's hands shimmer as balls of light formed.
A sigh of relief washed down me.
I was safe.
"We aren't here to fight bro," McCoy assured, getting up and handing a bottle of cheap beer in my hands.
"I just want to share a drink with Valerie and maybe offer her tips on how to go about searching for her twin."
"What tips?" I quizzed, taking the beer to show how willing I was to hear his idea.
"Have you tried Seers?"
