I stared at Dean as he processed my words. His eyes bored into mine for a few minutes and I started to feel self doubt creep in. Maybe he didn't want to mark me anymore? Maybe he was finally seeing how much trouble I was and was sick of it? Maybe he saw what a mess I am?
