POV Lance
It's been 10 fucking months since I've seen my mate's sweet face! Heard her kind voice! Felt her soft skin! My wolf and I have been on edge the entire time. The only thing that's kept me sane is the fact that I never felt the pain of Samantha being harmed or cheating on me. I knew that she was alive, unharmed and faithful.
Of course, that doesn't mean that I'm not angry at her for running. I was livid when I found out. When I figured out that she had overheard what I had said to my father, I was heartbroken.
