"Come on let's go to the canteen." The lecture was over. Dylan smiled at me with a blink of his eyes.
Mrs. Margaret just left the class not before announcing that Ethan has to wait back for detention. I have long forgotten what had happened in the morning and was about to get up from the bench when, "Stay back, Ava. I need to talk to you." Dylan and I looked back at Ethan.
Oh, along with forgetting the morning's incident I also forgot that he was sitting behind us. Surprisingly he was as quiet as a nerd shy kid who was scared of the crowd. Ethan did not disturb us throughout the lecture until now.
"Come on Ava... Let's leave. I also want to give you your gift." My lips sealed together.
