Chapter 7

Rielle's POV

"Nads! I told you I'm not coming to that freakin' party" I hissed over the phone

"But I miss my little sister so much! That's the only time I got to see you, I'm also busy with my work. Please?" Nadine begged

I pursed my lips "I'll think about it"

"Remember, it will happen this weekend, at our house. 8pm sharp."

"It's your house, not OUR house. And I have a volleyball game this weekend. I think I can't make it." I lied cause I still have injury

"After your game, please?"

I rolled my eyes "stubborn. Okay"

She sighed "Okay, don't forget to bring a date" then she hanged up

I glared at my phone.

"Hi" Ashley greeted me

"Leave me alone" I started to walk away

Unfortunately she easily catch up to me because of this fucking injury.

"Rhi, please talk to me" She begged as she touched my shoulder

I stopped "What do you want to talk about?"

"About us." She clarified

"What do you want to hear? Do you want to hear how you hurt so much, that I fucking hate the fact that I let you to fucking hurt me, that I fucking despise you, is that enough for you to leave me alone? I'm done with all this drama and shits! So, please! I'm begging you! Leave. Me. Alone."

Ashley seems dumbfounded to my outburst.

I turned around and noticed that everyone was watching us, I saw Glaiza and Barbie looking at me with a shocked expression on their faces.

I walked past the crowds of students and went to the gym. The coach said he wants to talk to me.

As I entered the school's gym, the basketball players looked at me which I really despised. I glared at them but I just got whistles in return.

I ignored them and went to where my coach is.

"Coach, you want to talk about something?" I asked

He's looking at his clipboard "Yes, you see the team really needs you, please make sure your foot is well before the tournament, and we don't want to start the tournament with a lost."

~~~
I sat down on my usual spot and fetched my binder from my backpack.
Some of the students came in and started to make unnecessary noises which I hated the most. Okay, I admit I'm loud sometimes but I know when to shut my mouth and obviously this people around me right don't know how to. I groaned.
They are soooo annoying.
Barbie and Glaiza entered the room. Glaiza gave a tight smile and walked towards me while barbie went to her usual spot.
Glaiza sat herself down next to me "What's the problem?"
I groaned and told her about my conversation with my older sister.
"Is that why you snapped at Ashley?"
My leaned my head against her shoulder, Glaiza flinched to my action.
"Kinda. I'm just having a bad day" I pouted. “Coach said if my foot didn't get well till Friday he would not allow me to play."
"I'm sorry about that, it's my fault" She muttered
I looked up to her and smiled "Don't be sorry, it's not your fault. No one wants that to happen."
She blushed furiously and looked away. And that is just when I realized how closed out faces are.
I sat up properly and let out an awkward chuckle.
"By the way, uhhh I really feel guilty about the cake thing, I saw... I mean we saw the letter and I want to make it up to you." She said still blushing
I grinned "Ooookay, in what way?"
"Well, I really don't know how to." She nervously said
It's funny to think that the St. Vincent's Ice queen is actually nervous right now.
I laughed.
"Why are you laughing? Are you laughing at me? Seriously?" She asked, frowning
I shook my head as I suppressed my laughter.
"You know what, nevermind." She said as she was about to stand up
I immediately grabbed her hand "wait, I'm sorry"
She settled into her seat and glared at me.
"Do you really want to make it up to me?" I asked seriously
She just nodded her head.
"Be my date this saturday"
