Danielle's POV:

We are only in Florida for two more days. I spent the night with Emma, I've hung out with both my siblings and in-laws, and last night we had another family dinner. These past few days Nic and I didn't do much. We had "meetings" for a couple hours a day but besides that we never were alone. Rose is having the time of her life with her cousins. It makes me feel guilty that we have to head back to Italy.

Today mom set up a picnic at a nearby park. She invited Nic but he could tell I was uneasy about him coming. He said he'd come if his meeting ended early, I thanked him for that. Mom keeps asking about him so I'm sure she knows about us, even though it happened, officially, a few days ago.
