“Mail whatever is left of the pair to the Trevisani estate” I ordered, wiping my chin on the sleeve of my shirt.

“Are you sure that is the message you want to send?” Marcel asked stepping away from the sink he was washing his hands in.

“That’s what I said, was it not?” I fired stepping to the now vacant sink. The skin of my hands not visible through the coating of crimson red, fingernails stained with the blood of those animals.

“Pack them up and send them off” he ordered to the two men present.

“You understand that is a message of war” he said calmly, his eyes burning into the side of my face, like if he looks hard enough, he could read whatever my mind was thinking.
