At Benny's

Sandra asked me to meet her at Benny's so we'll talk about pulling I and my family out from the sinking sand—her words, not mine.

She arrived before me and as we were about to enter the restaurant, she stopped me.

I guess that's what she's good at, stopping me.

“You have to hold my waist and act like you're so in love with me”

“Why?” I asked, irritated with the fact that she had to call all the shots.

“Well, there might be people from school there and we have to convince them that we're together. You know, you cheating on Ella with me and all that plus your family's life and reputation are in my hands” she smirked and wrapped her vine of a hand around my waist. I had no other option than to do the same because I knew she was right…for the latter though.
