“I dropped Ella off at South park to meet Linc, I just hope she'll be alright. I asked her if I could accompany her and she said she was fine but I'm worried about her” I told Joshua over the phone.

I was at the spa having the professionals pamper me for a fashion show I was attending later in the evening.

Joshua asked me out last week and I said yes but I didn't want Ella to find out because Josh was Linc's best friend. I didn't want her to feel like I was betraying her and I didn't want to say no to Josh so I decided it was best to hide it from her until I'm sure that whatever hatred she has for Linc had subsided.

“Linc wouldn't hurt her... at least not physically” Josh tried to assure me; he was probably assuring himself too. I could literally see him running his fingers through his hair in frustration.

“I would like to believe that; anyways, I'll have to go off now, I'll talk to you later” it was time to paint my nails.

“Okay, bye”
