'Get out here!' The angry voice of William shouts aloud, but I don't. I continue to hide in the closet. 'You know you can't hide from me' he sneers and I clench hard on my chest as his footsteps draw closer. 'I know where you are and I will not be angry if you come out, kid, but if you don't, I will be.' I whimper and tremble with fear and I bite my bottom lips to keep the quivering of it silent. I push myself over to his door and I slowly push it open and I stopped in my tracks at what I see. The grunt is louder in his room, but unlike I had expected, it's not from pain but from pleasure, apparently. Williams is completely naked from his head down, and his back faces me. Arthur stops his car in front of drumstick, a new restaurant that opened about a month ago and, according to him, is one of the best places he's eaten so far and I'm taking his word for it. Arthur comes to my side of the car and opens the door for me. I smile as he offers me his hand and as I accept; he pulls me out. We walk to the door of the restaurant and the security guard opens the door for us. "Ladies first," Arthur says as he steps out of the way and ushers me in. Throughout the service at church, I stayed disconnected as I kept wondering what William had to talk about. I wouldn't have taken it much to heart if he didn't sound like I was about to get killed or butchered to death. Or at least, like it was a serious life decision. When the service closes, I take a taxi back home. I stop at the front of the gate and I get down; I pay the taxi driver and make my way into the house. I am eager to know and incredibly uncertain. I've spent 19 years of my life with William and he's never said we need to talk before and as much as I hate jumping into conclusion because I know it's a bad thing. I make my way towards the study room where I know William always spends his Sundays after breakfast. Once I get to the door, I knock gently on the door and I get no reply. I knock again and still no answer. Weird, William goes nowhere on Sundays. I turn and was about leaving when I hear instinct voice coming from the study. I pause and draw closer to the door.
