'Get out here!' The angry voice of William shouts aloud, but I don't. I continue to hide in the closet. 'You know you can't hide from me' he sneers and I clench hard on my chest as his footsteps draw closer. 'I know where you are and I will not be angry if you come out, kid, but if you don't, I will be.' I whimper and tremble with fear and I bite my bottom lips to keep the quivering of it silent. 'Last chance!' I hear him say and next, the closet door opens and William walks in towards me. 'No!' The rasp cry escapes my mouth as he takes me by the hand and pulls me out. ‘Don't hurt me, please.’ I beg, tears running down my face. 'Too late now.' He replies and tosses me to the bed before climbing on it. "No!" I scream and my eyes open to realise it was just a nightmare. I fall back in bed and sweat breaks out on my face, and I curl into a ball. Last night's incident may have affected me more than I thought it did and now I'm having nightmares from them. I don't know if I'd be abl
I push myself over to his door and I slowly push it open and I stopped in my tracks at what I see. The grunt is louder in his room, but unlike I had expected, it's not from pain but from pleasure, apparently. Williams is completely naked from his head down, and his back faces me. In front of him is a woman with long brunette hair on her knees and he seems to love whatever it is she's doing to him because his grunt and hissing and moaning are louder in the passing moment. "Oh Viola, like that! I'm almost there! Yes." His hands buried in the lady named Viola's hair and he seems to guide her up and down his length and faster and his thrust gets wilder. I tell myself to get away from inside before I'm noticed because I am invading two people's privacy, but I'm so shocked at what is happening in front of me I can't bring myself to move. "Yes! Fuck, I'm coming!" He growls like a wild animal as his body trembles weakly and he loses his balance from his release and grabs on to the bed sta
Arthur stops his car in front of drumstick, a new restaurant that opened about a month ago and, according to him, is one of the best places he's eaten so far and I'm taking his word for it. Arthur comes to my side of the car and opens the door for me. I smile as he offers me his hand and as I accept; he pulls me out. We walk to the door of the restaurant and the security guard opens the door for us. "Ladies first," Arthur says as he steps out of the way and ushers me in. I grin deeply and shade of red appears on my face. "Thank you, but you don't have to treat me like a princess no matter what William says." The skin of his forehead folds as he stares at me. "This has nothing to do with William, it has everything to do with you." He takes my hand and brings it to his lip, placing a quick kiss on it. "It's high time you look at yourself like a princess." We make our way to our table and he pulls out a seat for me and as I sit. I stare at him as he takes his seat and after a while o
“If nothing happened, then what was this doing in my room? I have a reason to believe it’s yours.” He says and I spin around to see him holding up my silver-coloured panties with his hand. Oh shit. I bite my lips and stew quietly without uttering a word, and this seems to anger him. “The last thing I need right now is your silence.” I take a deep breath, “It has been a long day, I’m tired and I think you should leave.” If what he wants an explanation for last night, I don’t plan on giving one. I have buried that happening of last night away and I do not plan on revisiting it for any reason. He grits his teeth tightly and tosses the panties on the bed before moving back and, after staring at me for a long time, he heads for the door. I sigh in relief and take off my shirt when I hear a clicking sound and I turn around to see him pull out the key and slide it into his pocket. I blink rapidly and swallow hard as he turns around and looks at me. “I’m not going anywhere kid, not until
Throughout the service at church, I stayed disconnected as I kept wondering what William had to talk about. I wouldn't have taken it much to heart if he didn't sound like I was about to get killed or butchered to death. Or at least, like it was a serious life decision. When the service closes, I take a taxi back home. I stop at the front of the gate and I get down; I pay the taxi driver and make my way into the house. I am eager to know and incredibly uncertain. I've spent 19 years of my life with William and he's never said we need to talk before and as much as I hate jumping into conclusion because I know it's a bad thing. I make my way towards the study room where I know William always spends his Sundays after breakfast. Once I get to the door, I knock gently on the door and I get no reply. I knock again and still no answer. Weird, William goes nowhere on Sundays. I turn and was about leaving when I hear instinct voice coming from the study. I pause and draw closer to the door.
There is hunger, devouring hunger. “Would you mind repeating the last part of your sentence again?” Screw you? I blink rapidly, completely confused, and unmistakably afraid and terrified. You can’t blame me. He looks like he wants to murder me and my unborn children and, after that, devour our lifeless flesh. “Say it again.” He sneers into my ears, his body touching mine, and I jolt from the shock wave my body receives from his. I gasp at the reaction his body causes mine and I hiss, knowing he knows it as well because there is a look of satisfaction in his eyes. “It,” I answer, making his brow shoot up immediately. He seems to be taken back a little. “What?” He asks. I lift my chin to have a proper gaze at him. “You said to say it, and I just did. Now let me go.” I demand. He doesn’t let go and he instead he pushes me harder against the door frame. “That’s not what you said Kar, and you know it.” He murmurs, still pinning me tight against the door. Wait, did he just give me
As I walk to the court, I see Keenan and Rory waiting by the bench. Rory sees me first and chuckles and eye me from head to toe. “White? Seriously, dude, are we in heaven?” I roll my eyes, “Black? Seriously, dude, are we in the beginning?” I shoot back, mimicking his voice as I eye his black sports outfit from head to toe. He nods and raises his hands up in surrender. “Fine. You win, we are not. I’m only wearing this because this is my wife’s favourite colour, and he always wears that,” he points to Keenan, who is beside him in orange jersey, shorts, and converse. “Because it is his wife’s favourite colour, so whose favourite colour is that?” He asks, with his hand pointing to my jersey. I know whose favourite colour I’m wearing. I just don’t think they need to know. So instead I smirk, “Your grandma’s.” I reply and bounce the ball. “Are we playing or what?” They both get up and run towards me and I’m about to show them how a pro plays the game. Well, Rory was right when he said
Karen’s POV “Because it’s ten years ago today, kid.” He replies and his eyes drop. It’s ten years ago today that I lost Papa to a brain tumour. Ten years ago today, William became my guardian. Flashback... “Where is Papa?” I asked, horror written on my face as I stared at William’s wounded ones. He looks down, still rubbing small circles on my hand. “Papa has gone to a place a much better place and there he won’t be sick anymore.” My childish heart leaped for joy at what William had said. Papa was in a better place, he will not be sick or have his hair fall off again and if there was a place like that, I too wanted to go. “I want to go to where papa is. Will you take me there?” Then he looked up at me. His eyes seem to contemplate the suitable answer to give. “One day you are going to go there and you will meet him, but now I need you here with me.” I stare at him sadly, tears filling up my eyes, “If Papa’s gone, who will I stay with?” I ask as tears run down my face and my lip
