I stare at him on my bed in his black tuxedo and black trouser. His hair is now really long, which is a vast difference considering the last time I saw him three years ago. He was having an extremely low cut and, like always, it fit him perfectly. Then I notice his legs are on my bed, which means his shoes are also on my bed. If I remember correctly, I took the bedsheets to the dry cleaner a few days ago and spent a lot of money on it. It’s a lot because I work for my money with my part-time job at the bar and nothing is free.

So if he’s looking for a way to annoy me, he just did.

“I never knew you were a tragedy fan,” he says, flipping the page of the book that he hasn't stopped reading in the last couple of minutes I’ve been here.
