Chapter 50

Just like what my parents said, they scheduled me a flight two days later. All the packing was done by our helpers, and my only contribution to be honest was my presence on the flight day already. My flight was at 12 AM, so it was impossible for the media to catch up to me. I didn’t know how my parents did it, but we didn’t even wait for boarding. The moment we reached the airport, we were escorted by security and staff of the plane. I was with Maia and my parents.

“Thank you so much, Mr. Hales,” Mom said to the guy whom she was talking to earlier. I don’t know who he was or what his position was, but I guess he was the one who made this happen.

“No problem, Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel. No problem,” the man said and smiled. He then shook hands with my parents. I bit my lip and just stared at them.

I slightly jumped on my feet when I felt a hand nudging me. I blinked and turned to Maia. She was smiling at me. She’s older than me, I guess mid-thirties. She’s just usually quiet in the house,
