Chapter 13 | Someone Behind the Door

I took another sip from the coffee on my mug. It's Saturday, the cloud bursted in tears. That's how life works at times, reminding that it's fine to break out, even the clouds cry when it becomes too heavy.

I planted myself on a chair, raising both of my feet intertwined above the table with rapt attention on the view outside.

I wiped the foggy window using my hand clenched into a fist trying to discern more of what's going on. Nothing, just grey things and shadows walking to and fro on the road. I stared a little longer and got tired of the grayness. 

I sat my mug on the table, vapor rising from the creamy liquid inside, creating a mist on the mirror.
