My mother's cry was heard with great restraint; she was afraid that there were unknown vampires or shifter—the kind of creatures I had never seen—who could hear us.

I immediately jumped down with one perfect jump… it is just not with my balance. I almost sprained myself.

I flashed toward Mom who calling me. The sensation of running as fast as a sneezing makes me feel almost floating off the ground. When I asked Mom why my flight then was still as normal as a human was, she said it was because Varsan Seal was holding my back, but that's all. Mom refused to explain how the seal could be on my body while I was completely unaware of it.
