Chapter 21: Her Smile
Zon's Perspective
I just let her whimper as my heart was jerking.
I just watched her cried and let out her grief. How I wished she realized what family meant for. How I also wished that my family was alive.
After a few jiffies of crying, Cassy went near the fence and leaned her hands on it but then she frowned for she couldn't touch it. She was staring at the skies and the beam of the moonlight was flashing on her face, and I could see the color of her eyes clearly. And then she grinned in mitigation.
It was the first time I saw her smiling without any agony or sadness in her eyes. I was stunned by how hilarious she was.
