Cara's POV
My heart stuttered, a lump clogged my throat as i tried to suck the air back into the well of my lungs.
When i felt Nikolas's arm being stanched away from me, is when i dared to open my eyes again.
"Don't you dare touch her !" Alex growled as he pushed Nikolas away, his hand wrapped around the fabric of his collar as Nikolas's back came in contact with the wall.
Nikolas looked unfazed as he stared back at Alex, his eyebrow raised, "And who are you to stop me from touching my wife ?" His voice dropping with disgusted amusement as he effortlessly removed Alex's hands away from his shirt.
