Chapter 23

Shimi slept in Brown's room that night. The following day both of them were not guilt-faced when Shimi was seen walking out of Brown's room, she smiled to herself as she closed his door behind her and continued on her way. 

Brown discovered he could not wipe off the satisfied grin on his face. Shimi made him happy. She was beautiful, witty and brutally honest. Her honesty was so plain, the way she said it could not keep him from laughing. The night they had together played on in his mind the entire day.
