DISAPPEARING FROM THE CROWD

One moth passed within a blink of an eye and in this time period she only managed to act in an advertisement. Her setbacks made her loose half of her popularity and if it continued like this then she would really disappear from the crowd. Though she tried to be composed and never let herself scatter within pieces but her heart still ached about it. People easily moved on, in no time she would be forgotten and someone else would easily replace her.

Li Jin saw through her feelings and understood how she felt but he couldn't comfort her. He has been in this industry for a good while and well knew what happened to the artists who fall from peaks; never in million years would he have thought that one day he would see his Queen in this state. She was usually calm and quiet but now he could feel her depressed spirit.

"Qin Qin…"

"Jin Ge, let's go out for a drink!" Before he could finish she spoke up.

"Huh?"

Though he was confused yet he ended up being dragged by her to a bar.

Inside a high class private room of 'Retro' the two sat there and drank with peace. Li Jin was still struggling to finish up his first bottle of liquor while she had already got three beers down. She was totally drunk yet she didn't give up and tried to open her fourth bottle. Li Jin advanced and grabbed the bottle from her hand, "You can't drink anymore." Qin Yue knitted her eyebrows and mumbled, "Jin Ge, please let me have a little more. I still have not drunk my sorrow away." His heart ached for her, he has always saw her strong and invincible, it was the first time he has seen her this helpless, "Qin Qin, you are already drunk! What if paparazzo clicks you?"

She chuckled and replied, "Yeah, they would love to! What the headlines would be…Maybe- Troublemaker Qin Yue becomes a drunken mess after she faces severe defeats in her career, right?"

The girl seemed to be cracking jokes but her unruliness contained a hint of pain which Li Jin sensed accurately. He refuted, "No, Qin Qin, you are not a troublemaker. The media is just crazy; they love to spew nonsense all the time."

"No Jin Ge, sometimes people say the truth and the truth turns out to be…a lot bitter!" she said staring blankly at the void, slowly drifting into her own fantasies. Li Jin hated to see her like this; he got up, "You stay right here, am going to get you some sober pills. Don't move…" And he hurriedly walked out of the room leaving her all alone.

She was so tired that she had no energy within her, her eyes started to well up and stained her cheeks with tears. She closed her eyes and sobbed for a while slowly drifting into a nap.

After she lost her senses the door of the private room was pushed open and slowly entered a tall figure. He wore a slim fit sapphire blue suit with a red tie; his sharp nose and thin lips perfectly complimented his chiseled face. His hairs were neatly set yet his bangs carelessly fell over his forehead, partially covering his dark eyebrows and deep blue eyes giving him a mysterious aura. He slowly walked towards her and stood right beside her.

He stared right at her, the girl seemed to be sleeping peacefully but her eyelashes were wet. Her tear stained face was a mess but still she was no less than a masterpiece; he stood idly for a while and then raised his firm palm to touch her tiny face but stop mid way, his hand was just a few inches away from her.

His calm eyes flooded with a complex emotion as if he was conflicting with himself but a moment later the struggle vanished and he became his usual cold self. With practically no hesitation at all he retrieved back his hand and after staring at her for a while he turned to walk out.
