Chapter 8: HIS WOMAN
Larry went back to West Country after he finishes all the important works in San Diego. The main headquarters of Williams Enterprise was transferred in West Country. He may still need to fly back in San Diego for time to time since some work operations can’t be transferred entirely in West Country.
He was checking some of the documents that needed his signature when he heard a knocked at the door.

Jewel was very happy with her dad's company. This passed few days they stroll a lot. They visit parks and malls. Although she enjoyed their time together it’s also nerve wracking in 2 days it will be her due date. She needs to act normal but very careful. If his dad was not here they could just tell everyone that an accident happens like she slips in the bathroom that resulted to premature birth. However; the situation has change. Her dad is with them so once she started labor she needs to think of an act that will be convincing enough to make it look like a premature birth. She hates deceiving her father but there is no other way."Dad, I'll go down to the grocery store. We ran out of milk and some spices."

It’s been a week since her dad arrived. It’s a little worrying since there's only two days left before her due date. She keeps getting scared. What if her dad notices their lies? Simon assured her that everything’s going to be alright. She already inculcate in her mind that when her labor pains start "the slip accident should happen in her room" so that she could ask her dad's help and bring her to the prenatal clinic they have chosen. Simon already paid a big amount on this lies so she better keep it together. She hates deceiving their love ones but what can they do now? They both need this.

It's been around forty minutes since Jewel entered the operating room, the achy feeling is overwhelming. She can't help cursing Larry inside her head. She's thankful at least Simon was there. "Take a deep breath... Just a bit more." The doctor has been encouraging her through the entire process. She look at Simon next to her and holding her hands. He's sweating and also breathes in and out as if his the one giving birth. Though in pain she burst out laughing at the same time she heard a baby cried.

He thought he got everything under control; he spent a lot of money just to rent the apartment next to their unit. This is the failure of his second plan to be near his beloved. This is all because of Jewel if she's not around. Simon will stay in Australia for a long time until he inherits the rights to manage the family business.

It has been a month since Jewel return to West Country. She mostly stayed at Hall's Mansion. She personally looks after her son. She was pampered by the household. Mrs. Hall requested that the baby sleep in their room once or twice which she gladly obliged. The first few days in the mansion, guilt was eating her away especially when she watch the people around her give so much love and affection towards her baby. Simon keep's reminding her that it's okay, she was doing him a favor and in the first place it's his own doing. He was the one who announced it without informing her. In the end she learned to accept the fact and the situation. She promised that she will return their graciousness a thousand fold.
