AILENE Ricca wasn't even asking for more but just a little freedom from this nonstop war between Illinor and Demetrius. Since she was born, kingdoms had been causing destruction everywhere in Elāntro, the world of magic and witchcraft.
Ailene was sixteen when she was sent by her family to the palace of Demetrius for the Kryst selection. She was one of the lucky Krysts chosen by the King. Now, at the age of eighteen, she had to literally get through dangerous path of the Land of Eriya.
King Seiki sent her and her team to spy on the Land of Eriya for information about the Illinor's forces. With her adept stalking skills and her mastery of the wind, Ailene was the perfect Kryst for the job.
Not until they encountered one of the witches in Eriya. Witches were not supposed to be in any territory of Illinor unless the Blood Star is present nearby. They were cursed and ugly creatures that feed on any magic source.
In the end, she abandoned her team.
