Twenty-five: Honey?



Going through the files my personal assistant had dropped on my table, I frowned at myself, grunting at every minute. Today was one of the most terrible days of my entire life. Since the company I had wanted to work with had sent me a crazy email, I hadn't been fine. 

"Sup?" My best friend, Ethan, jerked into my office, smiling widely like he just won a contest. 

Turning back to the file, I hissed. How could he be smiling while I was being frustrated?

"Nothing's up. I'm only being so frustrated right now. Life's getting too stressful for me," I declared. 

He chuckled, sat on the seat on the other side of my well furnished wide table, then drummed his fingers on the table to obviously catch my attention. 

"What?" I turned to him with lowered eyebrows, flustered at nothing specific.
