The sun was bright against Genevieve as she reluctantly awoke, eyes falling on the image of Jasper pacing the length of the room irritably. The curtains were thin against the harsh morning lighting, conversation broken beneath Genevieve's attention and the phone against Jasper's ear as she shifted and stretched upwards. Jasper was alerted of her awakened state, a goodbye hushed into the phone irritably before the man sunk by the edge of the bed once more.
