CHAPTER FORTY ONE

The rest of the dinner was fine and like she'd expected it to go.

But it didn't compare to the feeling of going home- to him, Jordan. 

Uncle Ferdie insisted on dropping her off at home and deep down she was glad.

She didn't really want to wait for an ordered cab to arrive while whoever that man was could still possibly be around the restaurant's premises, waiting to pounce on her.

She gave him the address of where they lived now, explaining to him again that it was her boss' home and was as safe and secured as can be posdible.

He listened intently and slowly but surely, he gave in to letting them stay till they can figure something else out.

He gave the address to his driver, a middle aged man with balding hair named Sylvester, and then held the door for her to get in.

He asked about her job, and how she was coping and she had to remind him that she was already
