CHAPTER FORTY TWO
Hands clamped down on Jojo's mouth, catching the intended scream.
"Shh baby, it's me, Jordan."
Her heart beat started to calm as she realised it was realy Jordan and not some intruder in their home.
But what was he doing coming out of........there?
"J-Jordan?" She stuttered, when he finally removed his hand from her mouth.
"What's wrong ?" She asked, concerned.
"It's nothing, Jo. At least it's not something you should worry about now."
"First, there's this guy, Joey, right outside my room door, watching over Riley. And now, you are popping out of floorboards, what do I need to know?"
He looked a bit uncomfortable at her question but it was gone in a flash before she could call it out.
There was something and she intended to find out exactly what it was.
