CHAPTER SIXTY SEVEN - II

The car ride back to the hotel was quiet too.

Jordan had fallen asleep right before they took off, giving JoJo ample time to think about this.

She took her time to look at him, really seeing him.

He looked so worn and tired to her and he had new lines in his face that came with stress but somehow, he was still the most handsome man she's ever seen.

Maybe it was that thing he'd talked about, you know, love.

It really messes with you, rocks your world till the person you love becomes the center of it all.

She tried to move her hand away from his, so he doesn't have to hold on anymore, stressing his injured hand, but his grip only tightened on her, not letting go.

It made her smile.

The car rolled to a stop right in front of the hotel and one of the two men came down with her.

"We're here."

She said to Jordan, trying to shake him awake.

"Hmmm."

His green pools slid open, bloodshot and unfocused.
