CHAPTER SEVENTY SEVEN II

It was quiet in the room when Jordan came to and it was a lot darker than he remembered, like someone had turned off the light.

He didn't even remember passing out in the first place but he must have succumbed to the beckoning darkness at some point.

His arm joints hurt from being cuffed so wide aapart and his body hurt from all the hitting her received from 'the boss' puppet', the mad mongrel that had pounced.

His head throbbed with an ache that threatened to split it open but he had a will to rise above it.

His only concern though was finding out where they were keeping Riley, nobody has mentioned it or her since he's been here and it scared him to think of the reasons why.

And the big man in the room, who was still watching the couch wasn't making any move at all or saying anything to him.
