CHAPTER EIGHTY NINE

"No, that can't be." Jojo muttered in disgust as she watched the video playing out before her.

There's no way this is true, no way it's him.

It'd kill her to believe it was and see just how blind she's been all these years, to find out that her mom had been right all along......God, no.

But her denial didn't bring any desired difference to what she'd seen, it didn't wipe the memory or make the video a prank.

This had been the night she'd lost her father, this had been where his body had been found, there's no mistaking it, she'd never forgotten.

It took Jordan rubbing down her back and asking her in a concerned voice to breathe, to realise she'd been holding her breath.

Maybe if she holds it in long enough, she'd realise that all this is just a dream home wrong.

Or maybe it wasn't and she was just in a hopeless denial.

"Please Jordan, tell me it's not him, tell me that's not Uncle Ferdie, I'll believe you." 

She sob
