FORTY- SEVEN- FOOLISH HEART
JOANABE (JOENABELL) POV
"Idiot!" I say and giggle. His strong expression remains to look at my face.
"I think we should go before he finds us," I tell Leonel while looking at my open window, and he sighs. Then, he puts me down. Leonel grabs my hand, and I gasp in shock, "I think we should head out this way." Leonel leads the way outside using the green plants as a hiding spot.
"Hey, Leonel." I try to get his attention, but he hushes me by his finger, sending signals to keep me quiet. He leads the way out of our place. The irony this is my place, but he is the one doing the lead.
"We are almost there," Leonel announce. I roll my eyes and say, "I know, Leonel." He flinches at my words to him, but I snicker. We slowly move close to the gate, and I see Karene standing in a panic, sweating. "Let's go!" Leonel pulls me by force and drags me out.
