CHAPTER FIFTY- ONE- EMERGENCY
LEONEL POV
We arrive at our place. I can see Joenabell, no, Joanabe uncomfortable in her seat. She shivers while waiting patiently. I can't keep myself down too. I want to know more, no, everything about her.
I unbuckle my seatbelt. I open the door and open hers too. She politely smiles as thanks indirectly to me. I turn my back, but a force pulls me to a hug. Joanabe hugs me tightly, but it is like I am squeezing in her arms.
"Joanabe..." I gently hug her back and caress her.
"Leonel, no..." She tells me in a weak voice.
I wonder what's up with her. "Joenabell... you are squeezing me tighter. I can't breathe." I patted in her back softly and repeatedly. Until she realizes her actions and flusters. I smirk at her troubled face. She even looks prettier wearing that kind of face. I must be joking to myself.

One look into the reality, it always comes to be so far, looking for the acceptance that never came her way. Joenabell finds herself running away from Shally and Leonel, even though Leonel tries to snap her back. She swift her body to sprint somewhere. She gets intimidated when Shally threatens her to leave or hit her.Her steps splash the waters in the ground as the skies start to cry, and it rains. The tears flow in her cheek, the same as the raindrops that fall in her skin.Feet stop to move as she looks for a roof to keep the rain off.
