She stopped walking fast, bending on her knees on the granite floor, she cried into her palms, she still could not believe what Dani said. After some minutes of crying, she continued walking to the other house, she opened the door and the smell of dust hit her nose strongly, she coughed.

She entered, pointing the torch around to find the meters, she heard a sound like someone dropped something on the floor, she ignored the sound, the woods creaked behind her, she looked behind her but saw no one, she shrugged it off, she found what she was looking for and saw that a wire had been cut or loosen, either way, that was why the light went off.

She dropped the torch on the floor so she could fix it quickly, she checked it and immediately figuring how to adjust the wire. She quickly fixed it and the lights came on. She smiled, cheering herself "I'm a genius."
