Chapter Thirty Six

Turns out both the boys and the bears didn't find them on time but that was supposed to be a good thing right, so why was she feeling so sad. Maybe being so close to her sworn enemy could do that to her, Shelly thought as she stared at Cindy sitting on the ground doing nothing.

"Come help me," she grumbled at her.

Cindy just stared at her blankly before lying down on the grass. "There is nothing to help with."

Shelly glared at her. "I'm trying to make fire so it will alert them of our presence."

Cindy shrugged. "I still think it's a bad idea. The bear could come for us."

Shelly paused to think for a second before she continued arranging the woods. Cindy muttered under her breath while ignoring Shelly.

"Why you never listen baffles me," Cindy mumbled.

"You are the one who's not listening," Shelly snapped, "we are supposed to be working together."
