Chapter Forty Two
Shelly groaned as she opened her eyes then shut it back almost being blinded by the reflection of light. Trying again she opened it, focusing on one thing__Kiara's date.
She saw that her room was empty and quiet. She felt her head throb from pain and groaned. Sitting up__or trying to she noticed there was something in her nose, an oxygen maybe. She couldn't care less as she pulled it out and made to stand up again.
Suddenly she couldn't breathe. It was as if she was choking on the remaining air left in the room. She began gasping for breath and panting. She grabbed the edge of the bed so tight, she was sure her knuckles were white.
